Managed to check this place out on a Saturday afternoon right after a very intense industry course at an institute nearby. Thankfully this brewpub is located a fair distance from the Strip, a welcome reality check. And Hallelujah, the sign outside said it was open 24 hours a day, now that's my kind of brewpub.
It has a well-maintained interior, a dining area straight ahead as you walk in the front doors, a lounge area to the left with a fair-sized bar. Copper tuns are visible from both sides through clear glass. There is an upstairs as well, supposedly pretty posh, but there was a stagette party going on at the time, and we were denied access. Although it seems fairly spacious, there are only a little over a half dozen tables in the lounge area, where we settled. Quite a few big tv's in the corners Service was good and somewhat informative, the waitress seemed to have a basic knowledge of the beers, but was happy to get info for me from the bartenders. I only had time to try the Vanilla Blueberry Wheat and the Double IPA. Both were intense in flavour, not necessarily session beers for me, but fine examples of what this pub is capable of producing. Never got the chance to try any food, but from what I could see my neighbours chowing on, it looked pretty good. I look forward to the chance to go back and try more of their beers. Thanks to DESTRO for the heads up on this place.

This used to be my neighborhood bar a few years back and it used to be great. It really has lost its appeal and doesnt do much to want me to come back. Nothing too special on beers (damn I miss that Maibock) and its the same old boring beers....nothing awful but nothing to crave either. Food is probably its strongest point as I do enjoy the Sliders and the pizzas. Also, the Happy Hour prices are extremely generous which is a huge plus. Its an okay place, but I wont go out of my way to go there even when its Happy Hour.

The place used to be great. I used to hang out there quite a bit. About 3 or 4 years ago they went to hell. Beers are still the same, decent enough. But the food quality and the service has gone way down hill. If you are looking for a place with average food were you can sit and hangout for while and you are not concerned about great service, it is a ok place. I would not go as far as to say don't go, but I will say don't go and expect a great meal, great beer, or great service. Over all pretty average place.

Stopped in during an afternoon of mostly underwhelming beer shopping as it was on the route from Whole Foods to Lees/Total Wine.
A fake "converted warehouse" look from the outside, but inside is not bad. Smoking permitted in the bars (ick!) but at 3 in the afternoon the crowd was, thankfully, sparse. A three sided downstairs bar (deep to accommodate the video poker machines), with some high tops around. Rather dark but not unpleasantly so, lots of TVs.
I had the full sampler of 9 beers, which was pretty mediocre throughout. The Hawaiian Honey braggot was the best of the lot, the IPA was just ok, and the rest lacked any kind of character.
The sliders I had were pretty good. The bartender was pleasant and attentive, especially for a day bartender.
I would not go back, and am glad I did not go out of my way to get here. Not a bad experience, just nothing special.

They have a good range of in house beers, ranging from Pales to Stouts. Most styles are represented fairly. The food is good, they have a range of pizzas: thin crust and deep dish, and a good selection of Aps. Irish Nachos are a stand out. Nachos using potato chips=delicious. Fair pricing on both food and drink. This place would benefit by carrying a selection of craft beer. Having that in conjunction with their in in-house beer would make this place a definite draw. Even with their lack of a good Craft selection, I still visit this place due to the great food and good in-house beer.

I have stopped at this micro so so many times maybe I should do a review. I dont care for the design of the outside of the building or the inside for that matter, just a personal thing and no big deal. It sort of reminds me of a castle inside or something like that, again no big deal. They have two happy hours from 5-7pm thats when you can find me there and the second is 10pm-midnight.
They have enclosed the bar area so one can smoke in that area or for non-smokers the dining areas are avaliable. The bar has the usual table-top video machines and this is the only place in Las Vegas I gamble, and the only gambling I am allowed to do in NV.
As for beer I sort of step out of my comfort zone here, my favorites are the saison, the blueberry vanilla and a crazy beer, but good, called Hawaiian Honey, sp.
The food is good, maybe one step above pub food but very consistent. The service is great, and just not for me as they all know me but for everyone who walks through the door.
So if you want to get away from the strip Chicago Brewing is highly recommended.

One of my favorite places in town. They have 2 happy hours one from 5pm-7pm and the other from 10pm-12am 7 days a week. They offer six very solid brews year round with between 1 and 3 seasonals that are all very good. Currently they have the Hawaiin Hunny and the Koo Koo for Cocoa Porter. I frequent this place for there under 5 dollar happy hour food menu and the 2.50 22oz drafts. They also offer most seasonals for $3. The brewmaster here is wise beyond his years and very very inventive. Its worth it to continue checking back often. If you ask the bar tender you can usually find the brewmaster and he is always willing to carry on a nice conversation. It helps that this place is within CRAWLING distance from my place of residence. Great service, good food, good prices, good beer. what more could you ask for?

The Chicago Brewery is a brewpub in a large stand alone building near a strip mall in the Las Vegas suburbs. There is a separate entrance for the modest dining area. The brewing operation is behind glass in the center of the building. The bar area is quite large and there is a smaller lounge upstairs. They have six year round beers on tap as well as two seasonals. The beers seem true to style and are quite good. They have a second outlet downtown in the 4 Queens casino. It's small and cozy, sitting about 20, and has the same beers as at the brewpub.

I finally made it to CBC, it has been on my to do list the last 6 times I was in Vegas, but I never made it. I am glad I finally did, and I will be back for sure.
I had a few Black Star Stout, which were smooth, and went down quick. I also tried my first Braggot - their honey - it was quite strong, and not a style I will seek out in the near future.
They also list Ghost Pepper Chili wings on their menu for the extreme foodies out there. I would not even think about trying one of those.
The beers were all free, since I was sitting at the playing quarter Keno and video poker. The service was great, and the crowd was friendly. I was ready for the relaxed atmosphere they offer. This is a great place to take a break and slow down in Vegas.

This is in a nice brick building tucked away off the strip. Once inside the bar is long and black with several tables set aside. There is also a separate dining section. The bar has a few tvs and gaming screen machines. What I would expect from Vegas, but nothing out of the ordinary. The service was decent. The waiters were attentive enough. The food here was exceptional. The wings, burgers, and chicken parm were all very very tasty. They had about seven beers on tap. They were hit and miss. Where they were good, they were amazing--the blueberry and triple I loved. Where they missed, Hawaiian Honey--they missed big. The beer is worth the stop. The food is very tasty. Next time I return to Vegas, I will be headed here.
