The colour is dark brown; the liquid is almost clear. The two finger head is airy and beige. It sinks down to a thick lid leaving no lacing.
The smell is quite light with fruity sweetness and red berries, smooth malty flavours. Some yeast, hints of nuts and cookie dough.
The taste is smooth with a distinct clean bitterness. It is overall dry. Growing alcohol, red berries and dark bread. Some minerals and ripe sweet fruits. Medium to full body. The light aftertaste got clean warming alcohol, brown toast, ripe red fruits and berries. Passing sweet dough. The short finish is dry and harsh with cherries and plums.
The carbonation is strong, the large bubbles are fresh and long-lived. The liquid is semi-smooth.
A bit thin, otherwise a fine dubbel.

Big thanks to Per for sharing this.
Pours a dark transparent mahogony brown with a thin tan head. The nose is sweet with notes of nuts and dark malt underneath. Dark fruits, cherries, dark berries, hints of wood and some alcohol in the back. The taste is even nuttier with more alcohol. Roasted nuts, dark berries, a fair bit of alcohol. The feel is very smooth on a medium body and assertive carb, slightly dry finish. Not bad.

A: Poured the hazy deep amber beer in a "Ängö-glass". The off-white head is medium large and really thick - like hard whipped cream. Rich lacings.
S: Yeast, sweet malt and lots of frutis.
T: Rich sweetness to the malt; molasses. Then the yeast kicks in, followed by the fruit; moslty pears.
M: Aftertaste is rather short and mostly sweet. Full body and low carbonation.
D: Again Johan at Ängö produces an nice beer. This is the first Swedish Dubbel I've ever had and it was Nice!!!

A hazy brown brew, a tan head, rather small, no lacing but curtains.
The smell is fruity, banana, banana peel, pears, and some yeast.
Initially sweet, brown sugar, banana, ripe pears and apples, a slight bitter finish.
Little carbonation, small soft bubbles, smooth with a light dry finish.
A light smooth beer, does not feel like 8% ABV.
