Stopped in during my first trip to the Highlands, not a bad little liquor store with a tiny beer selection. So small that it was kind of hard to find craft beer in the cooler, maybe a couple Sierra varieties in the cooler. Other than that everything is kept warm on shelfing, I did grab some Harpoon 100 barrel series of the Rye IPA which was great. I also so some Wychwood beer which I've never seen in WV. Rogue bombers and six packs, great variety of those. The new Mendocino beers with Kingfisher in green bottles sitting out, Breckenridge, the rest of the Harpoon lineup. I have to mention they have 100 barrel beers from last year, I saw the Pott's Landbier and the West Hop Glacier beside the new release, wow. Great Lakes and Sierra Nevada rounded out the selection. If I stop by this store again, I grabbing some Rogue Capt Sig's and those Wychwood beers that priced reasonably. Harpoon bomber ran me around 3-4 dollars not bad at all. Guy at the counter was friendly but not helpful and had no interest in the selection of beer that they did carry.

The Liquor Plus has a similar range of Beers as their sister location, Smoker Friendly on Wheeling Island, except that sometimes they get stuff befor the Island location. Case in point, I was there yesterday, and they had Harpoon's Unfiltered Pale Ale, which I'd never seen in Wheeling before, and wasn't at the Island location today. Other than that, there's not much that isn't available at the Island location, but there is a good selection of Great Lakes, Saranac, Samuel Smith, Rogue, Breckenridge, Sierra Nevada, and beers from the Wytchcraft line, which aren't at the Island location.

This is another Smoker Friendly/Liquor Plus, smoke shop/liquor store combo that seems to be popular in the Wheeling area. In a little mini strip up at The Highlands located next to Fusion Japanese Steak House and Wings To Go.

Inside is new and clean. The focus is directed towards liquor. Most of the store is bottles of whiskeys and things. Beer is located in the back with most of it being 6 packs in the cooler. Nothing of interest is in the cooler except every offering from Yuengeuling.

Apart from that there is a little shelf with about 2 sides holding beers. Here are mostly singles. I was glad to see Rochefort, Westmalle, Traquair, Celebrator. Your basic craft imports really. Sam Smith has its own shelf next to the counter.

Good for the area but nothing that really impressed me. Just some solid stuff that is very good to learn with.
