Pours a cloudy, bright orange with a thick white head that laces.

Smells of peppery Belgian yeasty with earthy undertones and some floral hop notes. Really nice aroma for what it is.

Taste is up front pepper/spice with some hop character that fades into a spicy and bitter finish with some lingering fruity/ester notes. It's a bit simple but quite nice. The hop character is on the spice side and well underplayed. *As it warms I get a lot more DMS/corn taste than I noticed up front, which is not pleasant.

Lighter body with a medium/high carbonation level makes it easy to drink though it is a bit thin in the middle.

This has an overriding pepper and Belgian yeast character with just subtle earthy hop notes and some fruity esters. There isn't much to gripe about here even if it's fairly straightforward...well done overall.

Nice to have Clown Shoes in MN.
Poured reasonable aggressively and ended up will big full darker head. Semi-cloudy golden amber. Great stamina on the head and dripping lacing.
Fresh hop aroma with nice Belgian yeast spiciness - pepper, fruit. Nice.
Pale malt forward with immediate push of hop flavor with some excess of oiliness. Moderate to less dryness and finishing bitterness, esp. for style. Some fruit flavors and an overall pretty complex presentation. Nice layer of hops left on the teeth. Moderately light feel with heaviness more after carbonation has abated.
Overall a satisfying drink. A slight nudge for the hop oil excess (but it is limited and doesn't prevent it from being approachable).

Poured into a pint glass.

Love the beer's name, but could use a bit more carbonation. An above average beer. One that I would be willing to drink again, but not on my buy list.

A - Amber, clear, rocky 2-finger off white head, average lacing.

S - Yeasty, some malty sweetness.

T - Hoppy IPA with some sweetness.

MF - Light to med body, medium carbonation, dry finish.
