Had this beer on tap in Dublin
A: Gold straw colour with haze. nice creamy head.
S: Fruity notes with a hint of spice.
T: Hints of caramel can be found in the palate. Snappy bitterness at the end
M: Carb is dead on, bitter and dry finish
O: A great weiss worth trying.

Had on tap at Messrs Maguire in Dublin.
A - pours a hazy ambeer, almost opaque. Looks like a promising hefe.
S - very strong on banana - this seems to dominate the entire aroma. There is some wheat in there as well, other citrusy notes, but again, dominated by the banana aroma.
T - again, banana is up front, followed by the citrus and wheat/yeast flavors. Not as well balance as I had hoped for but not too bad.
M - medium bodied and smooth. Definitely goes well with the flavor and is appropriate for the style.
d - pretty good. My main complaint is that it is not as well balanced with all the different flavors as I would like. Having said that, still a solid hefeweizen and one that I wouldn't mind giving another shot if I'm ever back in Ireland.

Served on draught into a pint glass in Messrs.
A: One finger head of fair cream and thickness. Better retention than most of their other beers. Hazy orange colour.
Sm: Medium strength scent of citrus - grapefruit? Caramel. Very estery.
T: Very estery as well. Lots of citrus. Nicely balanced, well built for the style, and very good - until the finish, where that dreadful metallic tone comes in. At least this brew manages to disguise it until the finish.
Mf: Supports and complements the flavour. Adequately coarse but not too dry for a weiss.
Dr: Excellent price (4 quid) for Dublin, especially near Grafton. My favourite Messrs draught beer.

Sampled on tap at Messrs. Arrived a mostly cloudy straw colored yellow with a light brown/orange hue throughout. A soft fizzy head that had a good retention but did need a swirl or two in order to stay. Decent lacing as well.
The nose was a bit muddled. Some wheat notes with a light spicing that mixed well with a husky grainy note. The yeast was distinguishable but light. Had more of a US hefe feel to it then German. More of a banana aroma with a light cloves aroma. Some bubblegum, but limited and a more specific yeast smell.
The taste was a bit more on target versus the nose. The malt comes out a bit more versus the aroma but the wheat backs off. Some limited wheat notes, would have like a bit more. The yeast comes out more as well. The banana and cloves are there but not over the top. Some nice spicy notes from the yeast and a light rose peddle and bubblegum in the finish. A light hop note in the finish that reminds me of Saaz. Very palatable.
The body is moderate with some sweetness that I would have like to see balanced out more. Light carbonation but ok for style. Overall this was a very nice drinkable hefe. Closer to a US Hefe but enjoyable.
