Won this little treat in a raffle a few weeks ago and opened it tonight with some friends.
A--nice golden hue with some bubbles, thin head
S--citrus is there but not as much hop smell for a DIPA
T--pretty good mix of hops and malt. Neither really overpowers the other--good balance.
M--I'd say medium here with a fair amount of carbonation.
O--Pretty good DIPA but nothing really memorable.

Thanks to bcolton for the opportunity to try this one. Pours a translucent golden-orange with a loose, off-white head that dissipates into clusters of bubbles around the edges. Nose expresses sweet citrus and a hint of rind. Taste consistent with nose wth the addition of a medicinal character at the finish and a suggestion of artificial sweetener. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with a carbonation that falls just short of lively. Overall, a solid DIPA, but nothing really stands out - not overly hoppy or malty.
