Served this beer on tap, in a pint glass. This Stout poured a dark brown color and produced a tan head. The head retention was below average and it produced an average amount of lacing. The aroma of the stout was nice, it smelled of chocolate and coffee and roasted malt. The taste of the stout featured light chocolate and coffee flavors. It was nicely hopped as it finished slightly bitter. Overall the beer is medium in body, it finished smooth, pretty well balanced. Average.

Pours a clear, dark brown color. 1/4 inch head of a tan color. Good retention and slight lacing. Smells of strong roasted malt, hops, slight alcohol, slight sweet malt, and slight chocolate. The roasted malt gives off a distinct burned flavor. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong roasted malt, chocolate, slight sweet malt, and slight hop. Overall, interesting, but the burned flavor is a little off-putting.
