Notes:
Characterized by the depth and complexity from the toastiness of the Munich malts, this beer represents the classic Munich dark lager. Hops come into play both in the aroma and slightly in the flavor.

Had this beer on tap at the brewery. This beer poured a hazy brown color and produced very little head. Head retention was poor and no lacing. The Dunkel Lager has an aroma of sweet malt and yeast. The mouthfeel is nice and it is light in body. The taste is mostly sweet and yeasty. The beer is not very well balanced and it is not well carbonated. Below average overall.

A: Served a clear dark amber color with a decent head and some lacing.
S: Mild aroma of sweet malt, with a hint of grain.
T: Mild malt sweetness with a bit of bittersweet chocolate and a dry finish. Just a bit bland.
F: Fairly light body, crisp and quite smooth. Needs a bit more character.
O: Nice non-offensive beer.

Pours a clear, amber color. 1/5 inch head of a white color. Poor retention and poor lacing. Smells of yeast, sweet malt, and slight pale malt. Fits the style of a Munich Dunkel Lager. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt and yeast. Overall, not very complex, but an average beer.
