This Belgian-Style White Ale combines a complex malt character with sweet orange peel, coriander and grains of paradise. The end result is a shockingly refreshing wheat beer that can be enjoyed all year long.

From BeerAdvocate Magazine #76 (May 2013):
A gem in hiding. Having had numerous Witbiers in our travels, this one had a leg up on most with its sheer balance alone. Nails all of the characteristics you look for in this style and a bit bigger than usual at 6% ABV, but still drinkable nonetheless.
STYLE: Witbier
ABV: 6.0%
AVAILABILITY: Year-round
LOOK: Hazy straw, lots of lace
SMELL: Orange peel, pithy, yeasty, bready, mildly spicy, coriander
TASTE: Incredibly smooth, slightly creamy, very bready, spicy, hint of alcohol, orange peel, zest, coriander, nutty, ripe plums, semidry finish

Date night with Leah while the kids are being cared for at Washington Alliance.
Great color here! Nice balance and a good choice for a local witbeir! Not my favorite style, but this is a good example.

There are better Belgian Whites, but this isn't bad. Light citrus smell and taste, good yellow cloudy color.

This is a personal favorite. Not quite as bubbly as I prefer, but incredibly mellow taste. Obvious citrus taste, goes down very smooth. Great for drinking by itself or with a meal.
Smell is great. You pick up the citrus right away. Decent ABV, and generally priced low.

Milky sunflower yellow with snowy fizz. 4
Rubber, flowers, and herb. 3.75
Cream of wheat, slight clove, some orange peel, and herbal end. 4
Creamy, round, almost medium. 4.25
On target, if underpowered. Silky wheat body, plus oats. Resists the temptation to do White IPA hopping; strictly traditional. Does the simple things right. 4
