The Full Pints were new this week at Save On, and I bought two. After the other incredible beers I had earlier, this is more like more like home brew.
The head is OK and there is some lace. The color is about right. The aroma is where it started downhill. There is a lot of AIPA hoppiness but there is a funky smell too.
The taste has a bit of dirty off color taste too. Metallic and just wrong. The aftertaste is a little better.
Overall, this is not a very good AIPA, but it's not horrible either.

A - pours with a small head of white foam on a hazy, amber brown body. The head settles at a moderate pace and leaves light lace.
S - caramel and lots of spicy and pine hop character with some sweaty sock notes.
T - Toffee and pine up front. Some sweaty notes and caramel in the middle with more of the same and robust bitterness in the finish.
M - Medium body, moderate carbonation, and a dry, harshly bitter finish.
D - The aroma is nice, the flavor is ok, but the harsh bitterness really kills the drinkability.

A: Minimal head hugging the glass-beer interface on a amber with golden hues cloudy body with some small floaters in it.
S: caramel, pine resin, brown sugar, citrus, pine resin, pine and as advertised chinook hops.
T: This one is pretty piney which almost comes across as boozy. Initially opens with caramel malts and tart citrus with the citrus becoming much more sour in the finish. Additional notes of medicinal and floral hops throughout.
M: medium body and moderate carbonation.
Overall: Rates high on the bitter hop scale. Not bad but also not a beer you drink 3-4 of. Nor is it memorable.

The beer poured amber and hazy with a thin yellow head that pretty much fades unless you agitate the beer for aroma and the lacing is nice.
Aromas are of very piney hops grapefruit and sweet amber malt with a bit of bready yeast to it.
Bitterness starts off this fare with hints of pine and very strong grapefruit. About mid-way malt sweetness shows up and then is pushed back by even more piney bitter from the hops. There are strong hints of tropical fruit as well and as this warms they show up better.
The mouthfeel is creamy, full bodied, and dry with moderate or above carbonation.
Overall this is a good beer! I get a strange fruity smell in the aroma that I can't quite put my finger on and it does detract from the beer. It's an IPA so it's hoppy as hell! I'd like to get a taste of this on tap and see how it compares. I would recommend this beer with some good spicy foods. I'm going to score this beer about 3.5 out of 5. It didn't really wow me, but I'm not a huge bitter fan either.

Poured from 12oz. bottle into a standard pint glass. Clever name and nice informative label.
Cloudy apricot in color, with a moderate head of off-white foam.
Aroma-Piney, citrussy hops
Taste-Big blast of piney Chinook hops and then some. White grapefruit juicy bitterness. Great hop flavor and mouthfeel. Nice match for a hunk of strong blue cheese or spicy fare. Recommended.
