A little disappointing, I was expecting more. The guy on the label seems happy enough...Aroma is almost non-existant, and flavor is just barely there. This would be a good starter schwarz for a novice, but for those expecting a deep, roasted flavor, skip this one.

Nice flip top bottle with an interesting label. Reddish brown color with a little head. Light aroma of malt and hints of roastedness. Flavour of malt, grain and roastedness, alcoholic tones in the aftertaste. Nice balance of flavor slightly malty and slightly spicy. Fairly mild for a dark beer.

BB 15-8-05. Great white head and beautifull darkbrown and clear beer. Nose is as a schwarz should have malty, mostly carramelic notes and no roast or blackmalt noticeable. Light fruity of yeastester and litle alcohol& hoparome in the back make smell plesant. Taste is malty, litle sweet, carramellic and nicely bittered. No hanging aftertaste, just short bitterness mixed in a carramellic hazelnut flavour.
This makes mouthfeel enjoyable and the beer easy drinkable but IMO it misses a litle roasty note. Good brew though.
