OVW&S is conviently located in Brookside at 41st & Peoria around the corner from Whole Foods which is great for shoppers nearby. I must admit that this isn't my neighborhood store, but the review is based upon multiple visits. Old Village is larger than it seems with a well lit interior and room to maneuver a buggy around. The beer section is well organized in the back of the store away from harmful heat & light with the premium beers being shelved. The beer selection is decent with core brands & top-selling imports, but average at best. However, I've occasionally found seasonals & dated rarities such as Fullers Vintage Ale on the shelf when others are long out-of-stock. The service is cordial & friendly, but don't expect beer saavy. Definitely worth a stop for a weekend case or sixer if you find yourself thirsty in Brookside.
