This place is a 5 minute walk from my place. Friendly staff. Nathen, the younger guy that is usually there is awesome. Knows his stuff pretty well. Decent mix six pack, its $10 I believe, all beers are the same price, some over, some under so it balances out if you are picking correctly. They have a walk in beer cooler that has lots of good stuff in it, half is craft and the other half is your basic BMC swill and other not so great stuff. Decent bomber/specialty bottles as well, but they are kind of closer to the window, so I'm not sure how much sunlight gets in during the morning/evening hours. They always have something to sample, at their wine bar style sitting area right at the counter. Its pretty much my go to place since its so close.

You won't find a better liquor store in the area.
Nate lives and breathes his store, so he takes great pride in serving the customer and making sure everyone who comes in is taken care of.
Pick 6 wall is well-stocked and reasonably priced for craft beer singles. Nate usually carries most of the seasonal and limited releases, as well.
The place is really stocked well as far as wines go. I'm not a big wine drinker, but they have that market tied up well.
They usually have a sampling at the front of their store, as well (whether it's wine or the latest beer release).
Overall, a small but terrific liquor store. I buy most of my beer there and I live in Rochester. Well worth the trip every single time I stop by.

Nate at Strong is a very nice and knowledgeable guy. Strong is always my fall back for limited releases, due to the fact it's a little off the beaten path. The selection isn't overwhelming but covers all the bases. They carry most all the players in the craft market available, not the full lineups but deep enough to keep it interesting. They also get most of the limited releases, and I've said before due to their location things last a little while longer than some of the big name craft joints.
The build your own sixer department is regularly restocked with the latest seasonals.
The prices are near the best in town, I use the place a my barometer for most west suburb stores.
I don't get here as often as I should.

Strong Liquor is has a nice selection. They don't carry anything exotic, or anything you can't find at most other beer stores, but they have enough craft beer for any BA to find something interesting. There make-your-own-six-pack section is quite nice. It seems to consist of most of the beers they carry in six pack form, and at only $10 is one of the better deals I've seen in a long time. Service has been really good on my visits, and the staff seem to know about good beer. Prices across the board are some of the best I've seen in the Metro area.
