Great taste and aroma upfront. Local brew for me so will buy again but wish it had a little more complexity and body. Still a good one

Can bought at the WalMart in Birmingham enjoyed in the hotel in Houston. Pours an inky black color with a decent sized tan head that persists. Roasty earthy chocolate light licorice and black malt. Earthy with hints of creamed coffee. Not too bad.

Shout at the Devil has a medium, beige head and a dark brown appearance, with some bubbles and minimal lacing. The aroma is of faint, dark-roasted malt. The flavor is of that, too, but with coffee, vanilla, and chocolate. Bitterness is low. The body is medium, and Shout at the Devil finishes dry.

Sampling a cellar temp 12 oz can poured into a snifter. Beer is part of a swap with @Davidstan Thank you!
Pours into my snifter a dark black coffee color with a fluffy beige head foaming up 4 cm and almost overtopping my glass.
The foam fades to a sturdy surface covering that lingers throughout this tasting.
Aroma is roasted malts and some light coffee grounds. Maybe a little bit of chocolate and some hints of brown sugar. At least a little sweetener for that coffee.
First sip reveals a lighter body than expected and some very fine and gentle carbonation. Texture is smooth and soft across my palate.
Flavor is again some slightly sweetened coffee with a bit of roasted malts and some mild chocolate flavors. I dont get any booze notes nor heat and hops dont make any appearance either.
This is a smooth and easy drinking stout. No flaws, but wish the body was a little more robust to bump up the score and experience.

Really like this beer. Reminds me of a more coffee amped FBS....not quite as complex or luscious as that beer but they share a lot of likeable similarities.

12oz can from Toby at share. Dark brown pour, thin ring of head. Dry, roasty aroma. Taste is more roast, light chocolate, coffee. Body seems kind of thin

From a can produced 5/30/20. Pours black with tan colored head. Smells of roasted malts and coffee. Medium body. Rich malt and chocolate flavors with some mild bitterness. Pretty nice!

Out of a 12oz can bought in a deli in Birmingham, AL. Smell is fantastic: abundant freshly ground coffee, espresso, dark chocolate, maple syrup. Taste follows smell, though I’d prefer less carbonation on an oatmeal coffee stout. A great late-night dessert beer
