Small wine-centric shop with a nice corner shelf and a couple of coolers dedicated to high abv beer and plenty of enthusiasm for the subject. While the selection isn't exactly enormous, that also isn't entirely their fault - they've been passed over alotments in favor of the big box stores (ie, Midtown and Frugal) more than once just that I know of. What they have is within date and kept out of sunlight and air conditioned, though.

These guys know their beer, and what's more, they're happy to go the extra mile in order to get your business, looking out for specific beers for you and calling you as soon as they're in. The kind of place where when I walk in with my arms full of 9 month old, they don't hesitate to offer lend a hand getting full bags to the car, or even to the register.

All in all, this is a nice up-and-comer that happens to be my local stop. It's a place that I'll actually go out of my way to try and frequent, simply because I know these guys are trying hard to get a bigger piece of the Nashville high abv pie, and I want to see them get there.
