Cask at d.b.a., Brooklyn, NY
A: The beer is hazy brownish amber in color and poured with thin lacing covering the surface.
S: There are faint hints of citrus malts in the nose.
T: The taste is extremely mild and somewhat bland. It has hints of bready and caramel malts as well as nuts but no noticeable bitterness.
M: It feels light-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate; no carbonation is perceptible (likely due to this being served from a cask.)
O: The beer is very easy to drink and can be considered sessionable given its low alcohol content, although it’s not very flavorful.

A simple brown beer with a small head that dissipates rapidly, lacing is minimal. Aroma is quite mild, just a touch of bready malt and a faint kiss of floral hops. Taste is the same, although the malt character is a little stronger and tastier than expected; nice nutty, toasted bread flavor along with that muted floral hop note in the finish. Light caramel sweetness.
Body is fairly thin, medium carbonation, clean finish, fairly dry. Easy drinker that’s not bad but pretty forgettable.
On tap at the brewery.
