A medium bodied ale, red in color with a malty finish. This brew has bragging rights, it is our biggest seller. This crowd pleasing ale has plenty of hop presence to balance its malty sweetness. It appeals to drinkers with all levels of craft beer experience; yes we mean you college girl, and you too Mr. seasoned beer professional. Experienced veterans of craft and the newly initiated can both call this brew their favorite. Pairs well with football and pizza, soup and a fire, or your backyard barbeque. Take some home to your sweetie tonight.

A - Pours a hazy copper color with a thin white head

S - Caramel malt backbone with a stronger hop presence than I anticipated from a red

T - The hops take over the flavor much more than the nose would suggest. It's fairly well balanced until the finish, when a bit of a strange "off" taste is left on the palate

M - Medium bodied with a pleasantly (no pun intended) moderate level of carbonation

O - This is a pretty solid red. I could certainly drink it again, but it doesn't stand out as something I would go out of my way to get.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 2/4/2015. Pours lightly hazy orange/copper color with a 2 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted bread, light nuttiness, floral, grass, and floral/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/floral hops and dark/bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted bread, light nuttiness, floral, grass, and floral/toasted earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted bread, and floral/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance, complexity, and robustness of citrus/piney hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice hoppy amber ale. All around good balance, complexity, and robustness of citrus/piney hops and dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

L: Chestnut with a slight haze under a 3” root beer float quality foam cap that persists and leaves thick lace.
S: Lightly kilned fresh malt aromas. Not much hop aroma.
T: Attacks with pale malt and then darker sweeter malts enter. Spice in the middle with a hint of cola with a lingering hop bitter finish.
F: Very creamy, medium to medium full body, medium carbonation.
O: Very rich, creamy texture makes this beer a pleasure to drink.

A: The beer is hazy yellowish amber in color and is too dark to see if there is any visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high off white head that died down, leaving a thin head covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of malts are present in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the overall taste is rather malty with flavors of grain and has ever so subtle hints of caramel and sweetness. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite malty, but doesn't have much in the way of interesting flavors from them.
