My girlfriend and I just got back from a New Years Eve trip to AC. I heard of the Pub on here prior to leaving so I knew I would have to stop in once - what ended up happening was we went 3 times for meals. We got to know the workers and were warmly greeted on our return.
We both had Guinness all 3 times so selection was a SLIGHT issue as thier website said they had Murphys on tap but in actuallity did not. Oh well, had some VERY fresh Guinness and a few meals such as corn beef, chicken parm and crab cakes.
Overall a GREAT place and a MUST go to for anyone who is in the city and wants a break from the glitz and glam.

What can I say, this bar kicks some serious ass. Great beers on tap including the freshest Guinness I've ever had. They also have Harp on tap and they make one mean Half & Half. Food was wonderful too and the prices were incredible, $1.90 pints or $2 soup and sandwich specials for lunch! The atmosphere was second to none, mellow and low key, feels like your in somebody's home more than a bar. Service was not up to par but I think our waitress was PMSing. Hands down my favorite stop in Atlantic City.

I felt very comfortable in this pub. There is always an interesting mix of casino employees, including the dancers :) , as well as older folks. The mix of people is great and they all enjoy themselves very much. On tap was Guinness, Harp, Coors Light, and Yuengling Lager. The Harp was wonderful, so much smoother than the bottle. They took their time for their version of the perfect Guinness pour. And the Guinness was very tasty, but came only in 12 ounce glasses, the same glass that every other beer is served in. I found that very disappointing, although the Guinness was some of the best on tap I have had in this country.
The food is typical bar fare, and prices aren't too bad at all.
This is a great place to go while gambling in Atlantic City. The prices are modest in case you lost. :)

Due to it's being located a block off of the A.C. boardwalk, this place is usually packed. Food is just slightly above average...but dirt cheap! The beer selection is Guinness, sometimes Murphy's stout, Bass ale, and Yuengling B&T all on tap last time I was there, with the usual bottled macros. Pints are also dirt cheap...and always super fresh, largely to the fast turnover. The atmosphere is a bit rowdy & loud, especially on the weekends...but if you go to A.C., you have to go at least once!
