Macadoodles -- as a chain -- is greatness. They lean pricey (and outright expensive on some brews) but make up for it with a first-class facility and (usually) great service. Unfortunately this one is located in Arkansas and the state just doesn't have the distribution. A walk around the large beer area ultimately reveals few surprises for the state (although it's probably easily the best selection in NWA).
I was disappointed last time in as I had a hankering for some Stone and inquired if they carried it in this store. Counterman had to ask roving beer associate who ultimately had to call over a manager who had actually heard of Stone. He answered with what must be a mantra in this location: "We carry it up north." Which means they have it at the store just over the Missouri line. They are friendly enough but I have difficulty getting past the blank stares when asking about products from one of the foremost micro-brewers in the nation.
Ultimately, if you have the time, it's best to just drive the 26 miles to the Missouri store from the get-go. The selection has to be at least a third more of what they stock in Springdale -- possibly more.

This is a decent place for Arkansas. I was visiting some friends in Rogers and apparently there is no alcohol available in that town or maybe it was the county. Anyway, just a few miles away was Macadoodles which was a large strip style building filled entirely with booze. There was a large selection of Wine, spirits, and a decent selection of beer. It's definitely not the biggest beer selection I've found across America, but for Arkansas it wasn't half bad. If I lived there it would be my go to shop without a doubt.

2-23-13 Dinging them on quality, bought 2 different types of beer today, both tasted old/off. I will be more carefull with these guys in the future
Hit this a few weeks ago. Typical of the macadoodles up north as far as lay out & great customer service.
All beers were in pretty good to great shape
Selection was better than any store I've visited in this area (must re-visit liqour world to be sure) Moylans, Jolly Pumpkin, Boulevard, nice Unita (sic) selections. A few locals I've yet to see any where else... The selection is graded on curve for thhe state. If you have time I actually reccomend htting the store in Jane, MO for Bell's, Founders, laguinitas, Odell & many more
Eager customer service that liked talking beer.
Will hit these guys again! Right off the 540 so super convenient & easy to find. They also have a case discount store ( although I'm sure Sam's kicks their butt on price )

I frequent this place when I visit my sister in Bentonville. Lets just say for AR, this is a wonderland. Excellent beer selection, I would say easily over 150 beers. I even found brewdog. Staff is really not all that knowledgable about the craft beers, but you dont mind. Macadoodles is very clean, organized, and spacey. I spend about 25 mins looking around every time im in there. I found this place to be just right on price. They have some mix and match 6 packs which is nice too. All in all a great place for AR.
