Unknown vintage; drank 10/25/16 @ World Of Beer Evanston.
Black appearance.
Tan head; strong lace.
Cinnamon & chocolate syrup notes in the nose.
Smooth, medium thick mouthfeel.
Chocolate syrup & cinnamon flavors up front; mild habenero heat on the finish.
Very sweet & a little too spicy; above average but not one I'll track down.

L: deep, dark brown with a thin tan head
S: sweet, bourbon, faint chocolate and vanilla
T: chocolate, vanilla, light booze, cinnamon on the front, slight chilies on the finish
F: this is a couple years old, the heat is muted...which is fine with me
O: went well with my apple bourbon pork loin

Pours out mostly black, some dark brown to the outer edge. Great mix aroma wise of dark chocolate, cinnamon and maybe some ancho peppers.
Taste, more of the same, great mellow heat downbottle, that dark chocolate and cinnamon combination is never sweet, never more hot than comfortable. This is another gem from Odd Side, I really can't figure why these guys don't get more play, yes they make some weird stuff, but they also make some awesome stuff, and this beer is definitely one example of that. Would love to drink this again. Thanks for the beer MIlwaukee Nick!

Everything I read says this is 6% ABV but it certainly doesn't feel like it. The pour is too thick and the flavors too strong. I've never tasted each and every adjunct so decisive. Lots of coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg and chilies with a bourbon barrel vanilla. Nice heat on the back end. Fantastic beer!
