Bottled 3/3/16; drank 4/18/16 @ the Yarchives.
See-through orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a small bright white head; strong, frothy lace.
Lemon & fresh cut grass notes in the nose.
Medium thin mouthfeel.
Lemon flavor up front; dry grass notes on the finish. Honey emerged as this warmed.
Simple & dry; drinkable but forgettable.

Very delicious tasting, refreshing pale ale with a nice balance between malt and hoppiness. Pours a golden color with loads of foaming white head and sheets of lingering lacing. Smells more faintly of some citrus and piney hops, as well as a little malt and vanilla. Taste follows the nose - predominantly grapefruit, orange and lemon citrus zest hops - as well as weaker piney hops, caramel, bread and a nice malt backbone. Smooth, thin, barely creamy mouthfeel and great carbonation. I was impressed by how crisp and clean the taste was, with just the right amount of bitterness at the end. Definitely sessionable. Another great beer by a great local brewery.

Picked up a 6 pack of this back on the Marquette 2014 reunion summertime. Pours a cloudy yellow and orange color with 3/4" white head. The aroma was Simcoe, which is to say that it wasn't all that aromatic and was mostly bitter what you smell.
Its a bitter grapefruit and pine taste up front. The malt bill here is pretty simple, some lightly toasted pale golden promise perhaps and two row. While it fits into the session designation, there is nothing really light going on, it has a full mouthfeel and a sizeable hop kick. Carbonation is high and appropriate to keep this one feeling like it has some levity beyond the innocent abv. These tasted good in both the Wisconsin and Nevada summer.
