On tap at an Old Chicago near my house. I was a little scared to try this one at first - haven't had a pineapple beer before, and I was afraid of how it would turn out.
The beer pours a beautiful golden-yellow-pineapple color with a tiny, disappearing head. Decent lacing left all the way down the glass. The smell was pretty sensational - a nice mash-up of hops, pines, pineapples, and citrus. Didn't smell or taste much malt. The beer does a nice job of balancing the pineapple flavor with the hop profile. At any one time, you can stop and taste BOTH citrus/pineapple and hops/pines in your mouth. This allows the flavors to compliment each other and work together, rather than compete and overpower. It also does a nice job of being sweet without being TOO sweet - this may be from the balance of bitterness that the hop profile adds. On the mouth, the beer has a medium body and is pretty wet and sticky.
This was a very unique brew that combined one of my favorite fruits with an excellent style of beer. Balanced fruit beers are always hard to pull off, but Odd Side Ales managed to do a very nice job with this one. Would have again in a heartbeat.

Reviewed from notes. Thanks to my dad for bringing this one down for me to try. Served in a wine glass.
Pours an apricot-gold color with a good white head and some nice lacing as it goes down. The nose brings forward some nice citrus hops plus a bit of a floral component. Nice pineapple in the background. Not too much malt to speak of. Flavor is light pineapple plus some orange and citrus. Medium body with good carbonation and a semi-dry finish. Very good brew.

A-Dark honey color. Above average lacing.
S-Smell is Dole pineapple juice meets a classic American IPA-pine and grapefruit.
M-Sticky with noticeable carbonation. Crisp.
T-Pineapple flavor comes through but doesn't overpower. This allows the well-balanced hop profile to shine.
O-Pleasant and fun. Sean and Gus we found the pineapple!! Prefer over Dogfish Head's Aprihop.

A: Golden pour with some lace, no head.
S: Big malty with some citrus and pine.
T: Big malt presence with some orange rind, It is a stretch to say there is pineapple in this.
M: Full, drying, solid.
O: A bit on the malty side, plenyy bitter. Not very pineapple-y.

Poured from a 64oz growler into two imperial pint glasses. Thanks to HeatherAnn for the assist!
A: Pours a crystal clear, golden peach color with plenty of carbonation to feed the creamy light khaki head that forms on top and hangs around for quite a while. Some random ropes and specks of lace are left behind.
S: Interesting light natural pineapple aroma with traces of honey, mango, and tangerine. Caramel comes through as it warms.
T: Just like above with a welcome hint of cut grass.
M: Killer mouthfeel! Slick and oily with just the right amount of hop bitterness. Sweet to start with some resin-y dryness. Some lingering pepperyness during the finish.
O: Very enjoyable. We liked that the pineapple was subtle and not at all in your face. What a nice beer!
