Amazing beer selection, and extremely reasonably priced. if you are into craft beers, you must check this spot out!
pretty trendy; a lot of hipsters.... but the beer selection is worth it.
regarding the ambiance; think upscale dive bar with great beer selection.
i have had a few sausages and they are pretty good, not as good as würstkuche, yet good none the less.
they have an outside patio, a pool table, a dart table (shitty darts), and a jukebox thingy that people can choose the music (i.e., hit or miss music).
all in all Tony's is a really great spot that anyone who loves beer, or is just getting into craft beers to try some amazing brews!

The world needs more places like Tony's Darts Away. Its welcoming, unassuming, and has a purpose without being too in your face about it.
They have the best beer selection. It's not the biggest list, but they hit on every cylinder. As a hop head, I like that they split the list into IPA and Other.
Where else can you drink Pliny The Elder, Sculpin, Denogginizer, Torpedo, Hop 15 in the same night and only try about 1/4 of their IPA list? AMAZING!!!
The Other list is always super solid too. Hand pumps, nitro faucets and big pours for cheap prices.
The food is great and the service is second to none.
If you haven't been to Tony's, go in the afternoon or on a slow week night. Weekends get pretty busy in there. My one complaint is that it gets hot in there when it's crowded.

Tony's Darts Away is a fantastic pub in Burbank, about a half mile off I-5. Long bar with comfortable seating and tables off to the side. Darts in the back and a few TVs on the wall. I was here during lunchtime, so it wasn't too crowded (though it was getting more crowded as we stayed). Very nice atmosphere.
Beer selection was excellent. I was very impressed. On the beer menu, they have one page for IPAs and one page for everything else. Must have been at least 30 (probably more) beers on tap, all carefully selected. Lots of local (LA and SD) selections, and some great stuff from up north as well. Prices were reasonable, not too cheap but not too bad. I have not been to too many beer bars in LA but this has to be one of the better selections in the area. Very impressive.
Service was great when I was there. The food was outstanding. They have lots of vegan options and they specify that all the vegan food is cooked in separate cookware, which is a great thing to see, particularly at a craft beer bar! Many thanks to them for doing this. The food was great, I had a vegan chili dog with the house potato chips.
Can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommended. Not far from the freeway if you are traveling on I-5. Check this place out.

My buddy and I decided to visit Tony's last night. It's a fairly small place with a bar with some seats and tables against the walls. They also have a pool table (which we played) and one dart board (I thought there would be more based on the name of the place). They also have shelves with lots of board games to play and beer books to browse through. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive all night long. Lots of good food choices with vegan and non-vegan options (somewhat interesting). I had a tasty brat and shared some poutine fries, both of which were excellent. The beers on tap are all from California only. Lots of IPA/DIPA choices on one list and everything else on another list. I was able to try lots of good beer I have never seen anywhere else. The highlight of the night was Firestone Walker Sticky Monkey (awesome stuff). All the beers were fresh and served appropriately. I really appreciated that they served half pints on a majority of their beers, which allowed me to try many more beers. Prices on the beers were very reasonable and I ended up getting 6 beers and the brat for $36 with tax. I would definitely recommend this place for a chill night of good beer and good food.

Tony's is one of those locations that you go to if you know you love IPA's. And really, if you're in California how can you not enjoy a good IPA. That's what we're good at.
The joint has a wide selection of craft beers that you generally won't find in many places in a 10 mile radius. I know if I'm up for Pliny, there's a 90% chance that I will find it here.
The food selection is mainly a variety of different types of hot dogs as well as a good selection of vegan options (their other site Mohawk Bend is more vegan friendly)
They have board games so you can kill time and slip your drink. The place uses proper glassware as well as pours a proper pint. Prices are all around pretty decent.

Tony's Darts is a cool bar to check out in the Burbank area. The bar features about 20+ taps of California-only beers. On the menu, the first page lists "IPAs" (e.g. Mongo, PtE, Hopsickle, etc.) and the following page lists "Not IPAs" (e.g. Speedway Stout, Anchor Christmas, Old Guardian, etc.). You can pretty much see what the place specializes in. The bar also serves vegan-friendly foods, along with dishes to satisfy meat-lovers too. Around the bar, you'll find many ways to entertain yourself. There's a jukebox, pool table, darts, and almost every board game known to mankind. The bartenders are very helpful, and they acknowledge patronage. Any night is a good time at Tony's Darts Away!

Much has been said about Tony's so I'll keep it short with key impressions:
1) They take their beer seriously - take a gander at their website describing how they serve it, why they serve it as they do, etc.
2) They source all of their beer, meat, bread, etc. from California. Produce, whenever possible, is sourced in California. Eating and drinking locally is awesome.
3) Beer list (as noted above all California) is based on a backbone of IPAs/DIPAs, most recently including Pliny the Elder, Hopsickle and Hop Rod Rye, along with a number of other offerings of other styles. You won't get bored here very soon.
4) Menu is pretty basic, but you can't go wrong with an Andouille sausage, basil aioli, onions and peppers. Try it exactly like that and if you don't like it I'll buy your next round.
5) The place can get hectic, but the clientele, though with a bit of a burnt out rocker vibe at times, is friendly and down-to-earth enough.
6) Service has impressed me - for such a busy place the bartenders are still willing to take at least a moment to answer a question or make a recommendation (I didn't need a recommendation on beer, but on sausage toppings!) Servers that bring your food out are also very friendly and helpful.
Conclusion: Solid, solid beer bar.

This place was definitely the highlight of my 10 day trip to southern CA. The bartender was great, the selection was amazing. In west coast fashion, they have an an entire section devoted to IPA's. The atmosphere is laid back, with tons of beer and brewing books laying around to look at. I had spent a week looking around LA and San Diego for some bottles to bring back to Iowa, and after a couple hours at Tony's I had the lead on where to find everything I was looking for. The beer is great and the conversation is better. I will be going back if I'm ever in Burbank again.

hidden in the city of burbank is a great spot called tony's darts away. it's far enough away from the shopping center/restaurants of burbank but close enough to the freeway that its an easy drive. it's a great place to grab a drink with your friends.
great place to enjoy a craft beer. the place is a decent size, but you need to get there early to ensure you get a table. the best thing i love doing there is drinking a good beer while playing one of their numerous board games.
the staff is very friendly and knowledge about the beers they have on tap. but if you go there on a weekend be prepared for a little wait trying to get that craft.
selection is great. it's an IPA lover's wet dream. enough said.
the food is good at the bar. they have a vegan friendly menu. and don't worry they have non vegan food either. you gotta try the sweet potato fries.
overall, this is one bar that i love going to. great atmosphere, staff, and selection. just remember to get their early on weekends to get a table.

A holy place of the valley. Very chill, woodsy atmosphere full of brew books and hip signs. Amazing taps (up to date by the minute on their website). Hard to get stuff, all California beers and vegan food (vegan sausages to die for, and non-vegan sausage available as well). Sweet potato fries. A couple of dart boards, a pool table, 70's music, an IPA lover's dream. Perfect serving temps, great bartenders. Knowledgeable staff, accessible owner. Tasters available. My favorite place to drink. Pints run between 3.50 and 6 bucks.
