Growler to Hill Farmstead glass...as it should be consumed.
From notes. Thanks to CharlieMurphy for sending this amongst other HF treats in a wonderful trade!
A: Off golden yellow. 1.5 (white) fingernail head on medium pour.
S: Loads of citrus and pine with very earthy hop character. Can definitely tell it was brewed with Amarillo hops.
T: Much like it taste with a wonderful balance and just a touch of bitterness, which is just right.
M: Medium bodied/carbonation.
O: Another very nice offering from this brewery! Not the best I have had from them, but definitely worth trying if you can get your hands on some.

Appearance: amber/yellow pour with a nice white head
Aroma: Citrus and pine hops, medium amount of malt, touch of earthiness
Taste: Citrus/;ine hops, grapefruit, slight bitterness and earthiness
Overall: Decent APA, closer to an IPA. Wouldn't seek it out specifically but wouldn't turn it down, particularly if I could get it fresh, local on draft.

Happy to be able to give this one a try on tap at The Farmhouse Tap and grill in Burlington Vt.
Pours a cloudy dull golden shade of lighter amber. The off white head leaves well developed fine lacing behind on the glass.
Citrus nose with whiffs of fresh oranges, lemon and melon. Nice..
Fruity flavors o'plenty, crisp and dry with more and more grapefruit notes shimmering upon the palate. Quality and very tasty IPA...More please...

Another Hill Farmstead from Michael. Thanks! I love their IPAs. Beer is served in a Fantome glass from a growler.
Beer is amber with a slight haze, nice white head, decent retention, moderate to low carbonation.
Aroma is earthy, mildly sulfur, nice fruitiness, strong, I love the aroma.
Beer is light to medium in body, chewy hops on the midpalate, moderate bitterness at the end, strong flavors throughout, hops win the race here with the sulfur earthiness dominating the midpalate with the fruits following. A great little IPA, how could you go wrong with amarillo?
