Big thanks to my friend Josh for sharing this bottle with me.
Poured a slightly hazy pale gold with 2 fingers or thick foamy white head. Great retention throughout the pour I had.
The aroma was made up of lemon zest, honey, pears and some spiciness, mainly white pepper.
The taste follows the nose but with a touch more spice. The lemon and pear make up the majority of the taste but it has a really nice honey finish.
Light in body with an appropriate amount of carbonation. Very effervescent with a drying finish. Very easy drinking.
Overall this was an amazing saison. No one part of this beer blew me away but it all came together to make a very solid and delicious saison. I would love to have another one one day for sure.

look: 4.25 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4
Appearance: The pour generates a magnificent head displaying great retention and sheets of lace; the honey-colored liquid verging on golden; I docked half a point because it was a gusher and continued to spume after the eruption
Smell: Yeasty and spicy, up front, with a real farmhouse aroma; grassy and floral, with some honeyed sweetness underneath
Taste: The honey adds an underlying sweetness to the taste profile, with yeasty spice dominating; after the swallow, grassy and lemony hops add another dimension and the finish is tart and brings a touch of the barnyard
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: There is a lot going on in this beer and while the honey is a part of the dynamic, I am not a huge fan of the Bière de Miel style
Thanks, wildcats10, for the opportunity
