Poured into a wine glass from a 750ml bottle.

Pours a nice crisp golden color with some good haze to it and nice straw yellow hints. There is a nice white head of about half an inch that rises up and is pretty dense with some medium dense bubbles. The head and foam is so sexy as it sticks to the glass and slowly recedes down following the golden liquid.

Aroma is of earthy grain. Notes of wild flowers with some nice sweetness on the background that keeps some slight balance. Sharp tartness and citrus notes fill the air as i take a deep breath. Very clean and crisp.

Flavor follows the nose and taste dry like a traditional saison. Some nice funk in the flavor with some lemony tartness that is not overwhelming and is just tart enough to keep your interest but not overwhelming. A perfect light sippin beer with bready notes and some wheat as well as some slight honey notes on the back end. Mouthfeel is crisp, fluffy and carbonated.

A good saison with notes of lemon, earthy grain and some mild yeast spice.

More like a berliner weisse than a saison, not that I really care about style. Feels really nice (and tastes), has that typical Hill Farmstead well-roundedness with delicate floral notes. Yum

Pour at de Garde 10th Anniversary. Pale golden, light cloudiness, patchy head with ample lacing. Aroma is yeasty and funky along with notes of citrus. Taste resembles the aroma along with a nice medium tartness. Smooth, grassy, enjoyable.
