Red Ale with a rich taste. Full of flavor and well worth going out of your way. Not a bad alcohol percent, you don't have to drink too much to feel good and it is not a 'filling' drink. Goes down smooth and is good with pizza. My all time favorite beer.

A: single finger head. Clear light amber
S: caramel malts and some hops and citrus.
T: sweet and floral. Hop flavor is piney and much stronger than your typical red. Toffee and a fruit salad of citrus notes. Overall the flavor is very complex yet the flavors mesh well.
M: smooth, medium body and moderate carbonation.
Overall: another great Brewer's Pizza complex brew with many flavors coalescing and blending perfectly.

Appears dark red with a small off white head.
It smells of nutty bread like malts and grassy citrusy hops.
It tastes of citrusy fresh tasting grassy hops. The nice hop profile is balanced with a caramel and toffee like malt profile. I get grassy overtones to the beer. This is very flavorful. The malt and hop flavors to this beer are very strong yet they balance each other out well. The beer ends with a bit of bitterness and a tad bit of sweetness.
The carbonation is moderate. There is a smooth, creamy mouthfeel to the beer.
The drinkability is great. This is a smooth well balanced beer.

Sampled this beer on a recent tasting, poured into a pint glass on a hot summer day. This was a recommend from my waitress.
A: Poured a rich amber glossy red with a 1" head and minimal lacing. Frosted the glass with cold condensation instantly on such a hot warm day.
S: Smells of anise, coriander, slight citrus and grass notes on the nose. Subtle, elegant.
T: This beer has wonderful depth with crisp fruit and toffee notes. Apricot, mango and raisin biscuit goodness. No flavor overpowering and hops providing just enough crispness to cleanse the pallet.
M: Smooth drinking. Micro-carbonation makes it go down easy. Semi-dry beer.
O: Excellent craft beer. Definitely the finest local craft beer effort i've tasted in the Jacksonville area.
