Located in the classen curve shopping center. The Republic Gastropub is real treat for true beer lovers if you can get threw all the snobs to get a beer. The selection is great with a wide variety of all styles. The beer prices are extremely reasonable considering it's one of the few places in Oklahoma City to get a true pint. Some of my favorites on tap are Lost Coast Indica, coop F5, and Schneider Aventinus. The food is really pretty good and only slightly over priced. The fish and chips or the jalapeño salmon are my favorites and are sure not to disappoint.

Visited this place twice, found the place a bit hard to find even with my Tom Tom...

This place has an upscale sports bar feel, with a nice mordern edge to it. The only real detractors to theis place, not a great place to have a pint ( looks like you get 14 ozes) & a conversatio, too damn noisy, plus annoying music. Additionally, the clientel is a bit too rich & stuffy for my liking. I will still viist this, this place far more to my liking than Tap Werks

All beers I've tried I have been in great shape

Service at the bar was great both times, the two bar tenders that served me were friendly & liked talking beer if time allowed

Selection was great roughly 40 taps, no real throw aways. I would've prefred a little more emphasis on Oklahoma & regional beers. Always something worth trying. The bottled beer list was good, not great. Would love to see a cask offering

The food is stellar here. Everything I've tried has impressed me, frankly this the best food I've had in OKC (been here for 5 weeks). Gastro Pub type food with pretty good portion size

This place isn't cheap, but the quality of the food beer have made me happy. This place will be what I'll be thinking about as I visit other OKC beer destinations

A very contemporary bar; high ceilings, large copper-clad bar, clean black decor, floor to ceiling windows. Lots of TVs for watching sports. There are even small wide screens at the urinals so you won’t miss any plays!

The beer selection is wide and fairly deep. There are 60 or so drafts. The menu is nicely laid out by style of beer. The beers hail from all over; imports, US, and local OK beers. Styles cover the gamut from light lagers, through Belgians, to the standard pales/IPAs/wheats/porters/stouts, etc. I didn’t look at the bottle menu too much, but there were at least 100 flavors available.

The food is quite tasty. Pub food taken up a notch. My “Republic Burger” was cooked as I asked for (not the norm for American restaurants). It came with blue cheese, arugula, and a fried egg.

Last, but not least, there was no one smoking here. Something they still do in bars in Oklahoma City.

I'd definitely come back next time I'm in OKC.

Aside from the food, atmosphere, service, and ridiculous flat panel plasmas, the thing that impressed me the most was the beer in it's variety and price (ie: COOP F5 - $5). The menu was very easy to navigate and would give any novice beer drinker an education on different types of beer. The selection didn't feel like a book and it was focused on quality without all the bland fillers. Compared to McNellie's, Tapwerks, and Speakeasy it was much better priced...without a doubt when it comes to beer, Republic is the best in town.

The food is good, but most of the menu is overpriced. All of the sandwiches and burgers come a-la-cart (I think dinners too) and some of the appetizers aren't much more than a hand full of food. One example of this is the nachos or what I like to call the "7 chip nachos". 7 chips, 8 bucks. Don't look at them or they might vanish from your plate.

Overall my experience was good and I'll go back for the beer...less often for the food.

Typical overly-trendy gastropub in terms of decor and clientele. Lots of losers wearing graphic T's typically fill out the bar, while jobless, self-important, trophy wives occupy the booths. However, the downside of this place ends there.

RePUBlic features a pretty extensive tap and bottle list and the prices on the beer are surprisingly reasonable. COOP F5 for less than $6 a pint is a solid value and the Boulevard Single-Wide for $4 a pint is my go-to. It's nice that their "pint" glasses actually hold 16oz, unlike McNellie's. Speaking of glassware, RePUBlic has made an effort to serve strong beers in snifters and lagers in tall pils-type glasses. Food is the typical gastropub interpretation of classic pub fare. Fish and chips, bangers and mash, burgers, and club sandwiches with a gourmet twist, and salads for the health-minded folk. I've sampled fairly extensively the menu and have been satisfied with everything. Portions seem light on most of the appetizers but pretty hearty on most of the entrees. Prices are a bit high on the food, but the quality matches them for the most part.

Don't bother trying to get in on a Friday or Saturday night or during a major weekend sporting event. This is the type of place to kick back on a Thursday afternoon and watch the Masters.

Service has always been quick and not unfriendly. The small outdoor seating area seems comfortable.

Atmosphere, modern sports bar with flat screen tvs in every size all over the bar, younger crowd, not sure if they are really there for the beer. The price and selection was pretty impressive for Oklahoma, my favorite beer was the COOP F5 (an IPA from a newer craft brewery there). The menu was broken down by style, although there were some beers in the wrong sections. Some of the bartenders knew their beer, others not so much. The ones that did were friendly and offered plenty of samples. Food was decent, but a little over-priced, wasn't blown away by anything on the menu and we ate there 2 nights. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area, while it isn't downtown it is worth the trip.

Only 4 reviews? Wow! It's been open almost 2 years, huh? I'll put in my 2 cents regardless of any issues I might have with ownership for the prospective Beeradvocate visitor.

It's trendy, yeah, and you might have to deal with a few snotty people, but this is a first rate beer bar and I've seen a few around the country. They are one of the few that serve honest pints in OKC sadly and proper glassware all around - at least they try lol. I have had to argue a few glassware choices made in the past.

I think it's 100 taps and generally pretty interesting - at least from what OK has to offer. Including a good selection of locals - in fact I believe American Craft was originally the intended concentration of the lineup.

Food is far above average - expensive though.

Stopped by on a business trip to OKC. It looks like a Yard House wanna be. Lots of wealthy to do's in here...which is fine, but most are drinking wine or mixed drinks and watching one of their many TVs.
Lots of taps, but most are pretty standard lagers and wheats. There were some gems in the mix but I feel like they draw you in with the number of taps. I had 2 local Coop brews, which were very good, and an Ayinger Celebrator..amazing. Its everywhere, but I never had it before. Well worth it...
Anyway, I also had dinner; an open faced BLT (minus the B) and it was pretty good, but left me hungry still.
Service was ok...everytime I asked for something, I was told to "wait a second". Just annoying...
I also saw the bartenders pouring brews, that maybe were accidental, or had too much head, and leaving them at the taps. Then when that beer was ordered again they poured the settled out glass into the new glass and filled the rest with the tap...ABSOLUTELY NOT! Id be so pissed if I saw that happen with my own beer!! If something is going on with a particular brew, just be up front about it!!
Overall, an ok experience, but I will likely try Tapwerks next trip.

This place is located within a new development of trendy food and boutique stores that appeal to the trendsters (like raw food extremists and women who love patterned cloth bags)... fortunately most of the development is still empty because there aren't many of these people around in Oklahoma, which means plenty of parking! The first thing I noticed when I pulled up was the type of crowd coming to this place, which includes the aforementioned trendster and rich snobbists who are there to be seen and don't even drink beer. If you don't drive a Lexus, Mercedes, Audi, BMW or Hummer... you don't fit in... sorry.

Fortunately for the rest of us the place does have one of the larger selections of beer in town... especially that part of town. The decor is pretty cool, with a giant beer wall right in the entrance. Great place to watch sports too with plenty of large flat screen TVs... unfortunately the day I went was all NASCAR, all the time. The food is pretty impressive, but don't expect to get out of there for anything less than $60 (especially if you're having multiple beers). The wait time is pretty obnoxious though since the place is fairly small and no one plans on leaving because there's not much else around... except a raw food restaurant (which no one wants to go to). You can get a beer while you wait if you can reach the bar, but don't go outside because you will get yelled at. The service was average... I would imagine it would be pretty hit or miss depending on who you get. I can say I wasn't terribly impressed and it took a while for things to arrive, like water and menus. I think he actually asked us what we wanted to eat before even showing us a menu.

They have real towels and blue accent lightning around EVERYTHING in the bathroom... thought I'd throw that out there to summarize.
