This was great My first unblended lambic and it was quite delicious...Vomit smell along with some great citrus lemony hues....pours nicely little to no head...absolutely amazing color golden like a saison...taste like a lemony farmhouse brew super tangy very minimal carbonation with a nice dry finish...will definately grab more if i stop by that spot...

2012 750 mL bottle poured into a flute at cellar temperature.
L – Pale gold color with a tiny half-finger head of white bubbles that fades rapidly. Slightly hazy with almost zero bubbles. For everyone complaining about the lack of carbonation, unblended lambics are supposed to be this way.
S – Musty Brett earthy and barnyard aromas are apparent along with tart green apples and lemons.
T – It starts off with sweet and moderately tart apple, orange, and lemon flavors and quickly shifts to earthy, funky, barnyard Brett. Musty and woody oak flavors are apparent at the finish. While the tartness is there, the balance is definitely shifted toward the Brett end of the scale.
F – Light-to-medium-bodied with no carbonation, a sticky and mouth-coating feel, and a very dry and moderately tart finish. Dry wood and Brett flavors linger the longest with some tart fruits creeping in there, too. Again, no carbonation is normal for the style.
O – This is the first unblended lambic that I’ve had, so I can only base my thoughts on style guidelines, but I think that this beer fits the style nicely. Even though it’s a bit heavier on the funky side, it has a nice balance between tart and Brett flavors. It’s tasty and certainly drinkable for a sour beer. I’m glad I got to try this one.

Probably a defect of some kind, but my bottle was flat as a clam sea. Looks yellow and dull. Strong aroma, but hard to place. Smells a little fruity and yeasty, maybe strawberry? The initial taste is nothing but sourness and that doesn't change much nor does the thin mouthfeel. If this is any example, I don't think I care much for lambics, though as I said above, there may have been something wrong with the bottle. After half a glass I didn't want to drink any more.
