A fair drive from the Vegas strip.. if you don't have access to a car I would suggest going to whole foods instead of this place. I did find a number of beers that whole foods didn't carry however and they webpage inventory helped me pick out exactly what I wanted before I arrived. Prices were a little better than whole foods but there were also some out of date beers so be careful. There a few aisles of beers broken down into styles and only a few were refrigerated. Second best take home beer store in the area behind whole foods.

This place is a must-visit if you are staying in Vegas for a few days. It's a short walk to a Gordon Biersch, so you can knock both out in one visit.
Total wine is a huge store. Most of it is dedicated to wine and spirits. The craft beer is mostly confined to one aisle on the far right of the store. Lots of good stuff, and an emphasis on the big brews. Great DIPA selection when I went.
I picked up a North Coast Sochai Old Stock, Hop Henge, Firestone Union Jack, and a few other bottles. Had a huge supply of Rouge Bacon Maple too.

First off i must say they have the best selection in las vegas. They have more Beer than any one. They also probably have the best prices too. The staff is awesome and will take down your phone number and let you know when the really good stuff come in to town too. The beer is always in code which is a problem in a lot of the other bottle shops and liquor stores. I highly encourage you to check this place out. So if there is a beer your looking for and its in las vegas they will have it. I rated this place 5 because it is the best bottle shop in the valley.

So far, I find this overall to be the best beer store in Las Vegas.
The place itself is huge and somewhat warehouse-like, but has a good, clean, vibrant, busy atmosphere and is well-organized and bright, but not too bright.
Beer quality overall is great, with some high quality domestic craft beers and imports.
Service seems pretty good, fairly eager but lacking in personal investment or knowledge.
Selection is excellent and overall one of the best I have seen personally. It has a great selection if imports, including some harder-to-find British and German beers. It has a great selection also of local beers from the Las Vegas area and nearby parts of California.
Prices are good, some higher and some lower than the nearby Lee's.

Was in Vegas for a friends wedding and on Saturday had some things to take care of, so what to do with a 5 y/o in Vegas? Beer shopping of course.
This one was a good 15 mins from our hotel. Excalibur. However, with knowing the selection and single bottle capabilities. Took the drive.
Atm- Nice big open strip mall, seemed a bit hight class to me and the store has the same layout and design as every other one.
Quality- Nice selection from a lot of different craft breweries. Some west, some east, some third coast.
Service- Very helpful as always.
Selection- Again had a lot of things from the region and state I cant/dont get here in So. Cal. Stocked up on a bunch of single 12 and a couple bombers to take home.
Food- N/A
Value- As always, 1.25-1.80 for single bottles is fine by me. Nothing was over 10 for a special bottle.

This is my go-to craft beer stop. I'm usually there at least twice a week. Their roataing selection is pretty nice, and changes pretty frequently. I've never had to worry about getting an old or skunky bottle from there. I even tried a Jolly Pumpkin brew, wasn't impressed, and they let me exchange for something else.
The staff is pretty knowledgeable, and they have a great bottle chiller that can chill a bomber in 5 minitues. The glass selection is minimal, but I don't go there to buy glasses.
As for the price, they can be a little expensive (like $15.99 for Parabola when Whole Foods has it for 13.99). But overall, my #1 spot for a great selection of craft brews!

Total Wine is pretty much my main beer store. The selection is always great and unfortunately I rarely walk out empty handed. I can always find stuff here that I can not find else where in las Vegas. I like that you can buy every thing as singles and can also make your own mix six packs. They also beat everyone else in Las Vegas prices. If you sign up for their e mail they will e mail you a $1 off coupon pretty much every week. Make sure to check bottle dates as some times I find older stuff still sitting on the shelf. Recently saw some Stone Sublimely Sel Righteous that was a couple weeks past the best buy date.

This is my go-to liquor store in Las Vegas. Prices are much cheaper than Lee's and with a ton more beer options. I love the fact that they are willing to accept coupons via smart phones. They hardly ever have any out of stocks when it comes to year round beers, but as for the Seasonal/Rarer items...they come and go rather very quickly so be prepared if looking for rarer beers. They can be inconsistent when it comes down to a LIST/HOLDING ITEMS (for example Sam Adams Utopias had a list and were sold out but as for Firestone Abacus/Parabola, those were a first come first serve with a bottle limit)
All in All, this is my favorite liquor store to shop @ near my house and it isnt too far away.

Stopped in here on my beer buying trip, figuring a different chain would have a different selection. I was very pleased.
Like most TW locations I have been to, there are miles of aisles of wine (duh, I guess). But there were also two full aisles of beer in singles, six packs and cases, and a center aisle full of winter ales in sixers and cases.
The largest selection I have seen here in Las Vegas, with a few breweries I did not see anywhere else (Diamond Knot, Squatters Pub), a good selection of widely distributed craft beer (Stone, DFH, New Belgium) and a couple of real oddities (Flying Fish Exit 4? Great beer, but I did not know it went west of my house). Most stuff is available in singles (I did not want to buy a six of Deschutes Jubel Ale in Whole Foods so glad I got a couple of singles).
Service was friendly, prices quite fair. Glad I stopped.

Visited 11/26/10.
Located about 7 miles from the Strip, this Total Wines and More is located in a medium-upscale (for Las Vegas standards) mall complex. Having been in other TWM before, I can say that the beer selection in this location was fairly disappointing, with a number of out-of-stocks, perhaps due to the holidays. I was able to pick up a few obscure bottles for a buddy, re Diamond Knot, and they had a few local beers that I couldn't get anywhere else. It looked like they were focusing on half racks and case sales, not a lot of singles available. Decent selection of Belgian and Germans, but only average for American craft beers. People asked if I needed help, but they weren't intrusive. On a positive note, their prices are very competitive, certainly better across the board than Lee's. It's pretty obvious that their wine and liquor sales are there bread and butter. Having been in the TWM in Tustin, CA and seen a really phenomenal beer selection, to be honest, I'm not very impressed. But, heh, given regular shopping at Belmont Station and John's Marketplace, I may be more than a bit spoiled.
