On tap at f8.
Appearance- beautiful creamy tan head with an opaque black/dark amber body. Cascading effect comparable to Guinness fresh from the pour. Lacing throughout. The glass.
Aroma- toasty with a small hint of oatmeal and coffee.
Flavor- barely noticeable hops (appropriate for the style) along with coffee , chocolate, and well balanced black patent malt. Mild and relaxing.
Mouth feel- creamy, light bodied, and very drinkable. The nitrogen pour makes this one ofthe smoothest beers I've ever had.
Overall one of my favorite of f8's brews.I'm a fickle beer fan and it always seems to draw me back in.

On tap at Tomlinson Tap Room. Poured a nice deep brown with some decent head and a bit of nice lacing. Good roasted malt scents with a bit of earthiness in the nose. Nice roasted malt flavors as well, with a decent flaked oat sweetness, though not as deep as I am used to. Goes down quite well, with just a bit of bitter astringency.
