(Served in an American pint glass)

A- This beer pours a clear bright copper body with a sea of microbubbles gliding to a billowy snow white head that last for a good bit.

S- The clean aroma has soft hints of bright pine hops.

T- the mellow bitter full green hop flavor has grapefruit and woody flavors and finishes with a spicy green hop note. There is a touch of dry pale malt with some biscuit qualities underneath. The hops get a bit softer in the finish that is also pretty dry.

M- The medium mouthfeel has a tight fizz that enhances the hops flavor in the finish and no alcohol heat.

O- This beer is very easy to drink with full of hops in the flavor but a bit soft in the nose. The bitterness is full but very mellow and compliments the dry woody flavor of the hops

A: Pours a thin watery looking barely, odd greenish color.

S: Aroma is hoppy and buttery.

T: Taste is bitter but without any specific hop profile im familiar with. Some lemongrass and slightly wheat malt taste.

M: Mouthfeel is slightly watery and very thin.

O: Overall I do not care for this beer and probably would not seek it out again, one and done. yep. Not a total drain pour but not impressed with this one .

Growler courtesy of Amyliz4. Served in a Figure Eight pint glass. Fairly bitter without too much hop flavor. Nose has Amarillo. Touch of alcohol. Quite dry.

A- Pours a slightly hazy yellow/orange liquid with a very thin and splotchy white head.

S- Pretty simple aroma of citrus, caramel, pine, and grass.

T- Sweet malt up front followed by some hop flavors of citrus, pine, and grass. Simple but effective.

M- A good amount of carbonation keeps things lively with a slightly dry and oily finish.

O- Overall, this is just an average take in the style and drinks as such. Not bad by any means but is not memorable at all.

Review #1

Despite consuming (and utterly enjoying) craft beer, and accumulating written tasting notes for over 10 years, I've never documented an official review. Thought this would be good one to start with as it pays homage to my profession.

22 oz bomber courtesy of my friend tigerbass. Huge thanks once more my brotha! Poured into a tulip.

Appearance: Quite surprised by this one. Pours an uncharacteristic clear golden body with a nice thick 2-inch head that probably could have lingered from sunrise to sunset if I wasn't so thirsty and in desperate need of a drink. Left broken streaks of lace on the glass after each sip.

Smell: Wheat and grass up front that gives way to citrus and grains after a few seconds of letting it breathe. Aptly-named beer as this one reminds me of a warm sunny, summer day. Eventually, the wheat and grass battle back and declare victory for good.

Taste: Wheat, grass, and citrus up front but don't linger for long. Reminds me of a pilsner-like profile soon after the swallow. Slight bitterness in the back of the throat. Alcohol acts as a wallflower at this party. Flavor profile does not change much upon warming with exception to a more pronounced bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Light, as expected with this style, and well-carbonated. Very easy to keep on trucking away at this one.

Overall: Very solid wheat and perfect as a summer time drink. Could definitely lie in my backyard hammock all summer long with this beer in one hand and my guitar in the other.

Had on tap....

A- Pours a light hazed golden yellow color. One and a half finger white head shows medium retention. Nice long streaks of lace ended on my glass after each sip.

S- At first there was a light wheat overtone to this beer. Citrus hops comes through next which gives off a nice lemony aroma. The alcohol comes in next which seems a little out of place if not over the top a little.

T- Wheat overtone from start to finish. This starts with the wheat and gives a little hop bite in the front. Middle of the beer shows a little soapy flavor to me but only light and is under the wheat tone. Citrus hops in the backend show up and give the wheat a little run for its money. Alcohol comes in the backend and is a little on the stronger side.

M- Light mouthfeel. Carbonation is good for the style. Wheat and citrus are left on the palate. Aftertaste is alcohol, light citrus hops, and wheat. Flavors were blended well for the style. No off flavors were present when drinking this. Light alcohol drying on the palate.

O- A good flavorful wheat. This one tastes like what I think a wheat beer should taste like. Lower ABV means drinking this one should and was no problem. I hope they bottle this one soon with the summer coming as it is a nice porch drinker.
