The colour is medium dark red-brown; the two finger thick pale beige foam is quite thin.

The smell is quite soft. The dry notes mixes with aroma hops, fruity malt and crisp bread.

The carbonation is refreshing and strong.

The taste is somewhat sweet with a passing metallic bitterness. It develops into a bittersweet harmonic taste with notes of rye bread and some almonds. The aftertaste is balanced with notes of aroma hops and a small touch of salt.

I found this beer very easy to drink and it works fine with the complex tastes of the Swedish yuletide smorgasbord.
