This beer is still produced by Bockor !
Blauw is an "export" beer, a pilsner type that was very popular during the Fifties.
The appearance of the beer is very nice. A bright and clear golden lager with lots of carbonation. The head is white, thick and has very good retention.
The aroma is fresh, malty with touches of hop. Very inviting.
The beer is well balanced and thirst quenching. An excellent mouthfeel.
What more can you axpect from a lager ?
Watch out: Blauw has a limited shelf life. Drink it right after purchase and very cool.
