Thanks to the creator of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. This beer comes gushing out of it's can despite no aggitation and finally settles down with a cloudy golden color and a couple of inches of thick head. Smell has some citrus, and a bit of hops. Taste is surprisingly lemony, some biscuits,a bit of hops, finishes a bit tart. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Poured from 16oz tall can into a pint glass.
Appearance: despite resting for several weeks in my beer fridge, this can foamed up immediately upon opening. After pouring into the glass and waiting a minute, there are still 3+ fingers of frothy white foam in the glass. Color is medium yellow with a bit of haze and a moderate effervescence. Looks decent for a blonde ale.
Smell: sweet aroma which is very cidery in character. There's a little malt underneath, but this beer has a very oxidized quality to it. This seems odd, it being packaged in a can and all, but there you have it. It's not terrible, but I admit I'm not a big fan.
Taste: much less cidery than the aroma, thankfully, although some of that quality is still there, especially toward the end of the palate. Plain malt with a little twang up front; there is a bit of bitterness here, stronger than I normally expect for the style. Still, it's not my favorite blonde.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a surprisingly soft level of carbonation, considering it's bubble-up. A light creaminess is present.
Overall: I don't know if something went wrong with this brew or if this is Natian's intention. I won't be going after it again, though.

16 oz can from "Lifesource" ,Salem. $2.49 Golden slightly hazy body, large thick ,frothy white head. Aroma very slight and of bread, and slightly floral hop. Smooth semi sweet, cream soda, flavor with a slightly astringent hop bitterness right and the end and well into the after taste.Strange but not disturbing. Mouthfeel is cool..smooth and silky over the tongue. Odd beer not a favourite but not bad.

A very nice beer from a small brewery in Portland
Foams a bit from punching the tab, poured into glass.
Smooth golden yellow body, somewhat hazy. Very nice head. This beer looks great. Rocky, white foam, great lacing.
Aroma is a touch sharp with spice and hops, light cracker underneath. Grapefruit rind.
Flavor picks up these characteristics and runs a bit further. Although the citrus/grapefruit softens. More spicy, and fresh cut green grass.
A smooth feel to it. This isn't bad, however a bit more carbo would sharpen it...I think. Still, it's dry and delish

A 10 oz. pour from a recently-tapped keg, Bailey's Taproom. A mid-50's, mid-June afternoon, overcast and rainy at times - perfect for a summery blonde ale, right?
A: Golden/wheat, a modest haze and plenty of streaming carbonation. Head is a not-quite-covering lid of dimpled film and rim-clinging cream. Nice-looking lace, a draped and tightly-knit webbing.
S: Mild breadiness, a grassiness that seems a little briny ('Saltine' cracker?). Light and vague: more subtle, perhaps, than my nose is atuned to... A little musky as it warms.
T: Bittersweet doughy grains chased by brighter hops. A good, pithy lemon peel veiled over crusty-dry malt. A flavor surprise with a finish that's a bit jarringly bitter and zesty compared to other blonde ales I've tasted.
M: Reasonably crisp upfront, light-bodied with a lagging bitterness. A 'bite' with each sip, not so much from carbonation as from latent hop afterlife. Coating, grainy texture to finish.
D: Easy to drink, a solid and refreshing 'summer' choice. It's a tough style to get overly-excited about, but this is executed well enough that I'd order it again. Worth a try, without a doubt.
