I must keep reminding myself this is an English ESB and not American but the flavor is still too understated with that reminder. Heavy sweet malts but not quite enough hops to balance it off. Kind of a spoiled flavor to the malts. syrupy mouthfeel. Ridiculous legs on this beer. Nose is all malts.
