Tap at the pub.

Pours a cloudy honey wheat color, white head.

Smells very citrusy, plus hints of coriander.

Taste is lemony tart with coriander again, and some citrus sweetness.

Lighter to medium body with a soft carbonation.

A solid and flavorful saison, more tart than most that I've had, which is saying something since farmhouse ales tend to be on the tart side. Would have this again for sure.

On tap at Natty Greene's in Raleigh

Pours a hazy yellow with a thin lacing of head with no retention. The nose has notes of lemon and faint Belgian yeast. The flavor has notes of yeast, lemon, orange, and very faint herbs. The mouthfeel is light and moderately carbonated.

This one comes across one dimensional. There's very little in the way of complexity. The flavor is primarily lemon. The herbs are noticeable but are so mild as to be fleeting. If you're at Natty Greene's it's worth trying, but don't go out of your way.

On-tap at the brewpub served in a standard pint glass a hazy dark yellow with a thin diminishing head that leaves decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is sweet fruit and mild spice. The taste is a nice amount of sweet fruit with a decent spice kick alongside. The beer is quite light, crisp and refreshing. This is one I would certainly have again, especially for $2 a pint on Thursdays.
