This is my first beeradvocate review, keep that in mind. I tried this beer while at the Vintage in downtown Madison. GREAT bar, they have a nice patio, good food and great beer.

I tried this beer on a whim and loved it! It tastes like a gingerbread cookie. A couple friends tried it and most thought it was too heavily ginger-flavored to have more than one of it but nonetheless, it was well-worth trying.

I recommend trying if you are ever run across it!

Served on tap at Cottage Grove fest.

A=Orangish yellow, with some cloudiness...decent head that left rather fast.

S=Citrus and spice.

T=Rather predominant ginger presence, with hops and sweetness. Not what I'd call a session beer, but one that might compliment Indian food well. Some sweetness.

M=Decent body, perhaps a bit more body than anticipated.

O=A unique beer worthy of trying if you are in the Madison area and if you have a craving for ginger.
