I had this one on tap at the brewery.
Smell was full of hops with some citrus and woodsy notes to it. Taste was very very good. Lots of bitter hops throughout. A bit of oak flavor coming through as well. Medium bodied mouthfeel. This beer went down great with my dinner. I really enjoyed this one and will definitely be trying it again on a return trip to the Vintage.

a: pretty dark in the bar, but color seemed a bronze/orange. clear and an ok white head.
s: some earthy and fruity english hops along with woodsy notes from the oak. sweetish aroma as well, but all in all, pretty subtle for an ipa.
t: sweet malts are amped up a bit by the vanilla character from the oak. smooth hops balance it out. some lingering sweetness. the bitterness is restrained.
m: just over medium-bodied, creamy, maybe a bit slick/sticky.
o: oaked ipa's are not something i seek out, but this was pretty good.

Clean and clear orange pour from the cask. Consistent quarter inch head retains throughout and leaves a steady stream of lacing. Served in a British pint glass.
Smells of tree bark and spicy hops. Certainly in the British vein.
Drinks of soft bitterness and pine with a creamy woodsy finish.
Creamy, soft, and low on carbonation which is appropriate for the cask serving.
A pretty straight forward British style cask beer.

A - A clear orangish yellow body with a half insh of white head leaving way for wisps and nice lacing.
S - Malty and rather empty. There is nothing in the aroma making me think this beer could be considered an IPA.
T - There's a slight candy taste with no hop presence what-so-ever. Very disappointed with how this beers flavors presented themselves.
M - Watery and slightly coarse with a slight stickiness on my lips.
~ I will never have this beer again and would certainly not recommend it to a friend.
