This is a 12oz. can poured into a 20oz. weizen glass. With an aggressive pour I get a one finger tan head that quickly recedes to a thin cap with thick lacing left behind. This brew is a darker amber, very hazy, with medium amount of carbonation.
The aroma is a light malty aroma, noticeable before the sip.
The flavor is sweet malts, caramel, there is a fruitiness, with a crisp, slightly dry finish.
The feel is medium and a bit fizzy.
The is an OK Oktoberfest, it could have a more malty aroma, a bit of a bitter spicy finish is also missing.

draught
Medium, brownish orange color. Slightly sweet, caramelized malt, with a touch of allspice, for the aroma. Quite pleasant, touch of sweetness, and mini tang, at start of taste. Mildly caramelized, toasted malt with a whiff of allspice/clove in there. Medium bodied, with good spiced caramel finish.

Dark amber orange, unfiltered, visible carb, thin skim, no lace.
Sweet malty aroma, light fruit ester, malt character has a stickiness to it.
Sticky cereal grains, a little bland, light bitterness, semi-dry nutty finish.
Medium bodied with a substantial feel, soft carb, lacks crispness.
Overall worth trying but I doubt i’ll return to it.

Transcribed from my notebook.
1.055 OG 26 IBUS 5.6 ABV
Clear amber, two finger head without lacing, scent of caramel, graham crackers and an underlying faint whiff of generic dried fruit and nuts "trail mix." Flavor is a clean blend of malt spectrum with only a few nutty accent points and a medium thick, smooth body. Better than an average Oktoberfest, but not in the same league as the absolute best ones either.

Sampled 10/9/2010 at the brewpub.
Pours orange/red, clear, decent lacing but very small head and no retention.
Aroma is of sweet toffee, malt, and corn.
Flavor is fairly complex but oddly dry and bitter. I taste corn, grape, caramel, and a little cardboard.
Body is medium/light, good carbonation level, and fairly drinkable.
Tick.
