Cleveland's only Punk Rock beer bar.
Located on the corner of Franklin and W117th in Cleveland. This place has an unwelcoming facade. The building is painted black and red, the windows are blacked out, there is a blow up doll in bondage on the 2nd floor balcony, a Pabst sign in one window, and a La Fin Du Monde sign in the other.
The inside is just as welcoming as the outside. As you walk through the door you are greeted with the smell of spilled stale beer, and the sounds of the Dayglo Abortions. There is a large horseshoe bar, tables, chairs, booths along the walls, and a caged-in-stage in one corner. The walls, and ceilings are covered in art and bumper stickers. There is a beer bazooka on one wall, and a display case showing the beers that they offer.
The crowd is a mix of people in their 20's through their 40's, with a nice ratio of girl to guy. Everyone is mingling and having a good time. They have Punk Rock bands on weekends, and a juke-box with the best selection of real punk rock.
They stock over 80 different beers, with something for everyone. They have a mixed selection with everything from Pabst, Stroh's, Black Label, to Heiniken, Stella Artois, to La Fin Du Monde, DFH 90 min, Bells, Stone, Delirium Tremens, etc... They also had four taps with one being a seasonal release. Dont expect proper glassware, they offer plastic cups; you cant have glassware and a beer bazooka in the same place!
The staff are friendly and fast.
