on tap (yup, and I'm not in belgium!) into shaker pint glass- in december...eesh.
A- 2 finger head, fairly compact bubbles, recedes to thin wispy 1mm cap. Hazy, straw yellow color. Thin broken lacing, but more than I expected- pretty nice to look at.
S- slight acid, tart, sourdough-ish. Little yeasty. pretty fresh, little citric.
T- lightly tart, citric, a little sweeter in the middle. lingering bitter/dryness in the finish, moreso than I expected.
M- thin, not a lot of carbonation, but not lacking either.
Overall, I thought it was a nice beer- had it been summer, I'd be much happier drinking this. As such, it still scores decent with me for a white beer and I'd drink it again easily, specially with frites or seafood in the summer.

Stubby bottle consumed in Antwerp, on to the beer:
Living up to the name, this beer is nearly colorless with a kiss of hay . The bone white head is sturdy and retains very well. The nose is soft and fruity, bringing lemon and orange first, and trailed by soft spices and coriander. Momentum keeps going...a soft taste with flavor is just what I was craving, and it's brought to the table in the form of a lemon-orange fruitiness, a kiss of spice, good balance, and the creaminess of oats. Somehow, the beer is light on its feet and refreshing with gentle crispness.
This is a very refreshing witbier which I wouldn't mind to see on the US market. Somewhat easy to find in Belgium too, which is convenient.

T: Slightly sweet upfront. Sweet grains, wheat, honey, orange zest, earthy yeasts. A dry and refreshing taste, in overall
M: Light body. Creamy texture. Medium carbonation. Wheaty and spicy aftertaste
O: Very refreshing easydrinking. Good quality wittebier

On-tap at Frenzi, Amsterdam, Netherlands
A: The beer is very hazy pale yellow in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin film of bubbles covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of wheat and citrus are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has nice flavors of wheat intermixed with lemon citrus and orange peels.
M: It feels light-bodied (but not watery) on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink, thirst quenching, and refreshing. I liked how it was packed with lots of citrusy aromas and flavors.

Pale milky yellow color. Poured two fingers of bright white head with medium retention but leaving laces.
Citrusy aroma, with notes of yeast, vanilla and banana.
Flavor of pineapple, lemon, orange peel, coriander and wheat. Very light on the banana. Aftertaste is dry, a bit acid and mild bitter.
Light body with good carbonation.
Mouthfeel was great to me, not really sweet, condimented at the right level, very citric and refreshing. This should be sold in liters bottle, not thirds of a liter. Though a light beer it has its own character. If I drank too many wheat beers, I feel like not drinking it for a while. This shouldn’t be the case for Vedett.

Bottle of 330 ml, at home. Poured into a weizen glass. ABV is 4,7%. Medium head for the style, about one and a half fingers, white in colour and soapy in texture. Left some light lacing as it went down, in a short period of time.Only a slighty hazybess on the body, looks pretty clear. Average activity in the glass. Banana, clove and citrus aromas on the nose. Sweet taste with a very faint sourness on the finish. Quite boring, also some citrus fruits on the taste, but that’s pretty mush it. Overall, below than your average wit beer, it lacks lots on the taste.

Cloudy platinum with rocky clinging shaving cream foam that clings. Lemon furniture polish (but in a good way!) on the nose with bits of flowers and cantaloupe.
Melon, a wax hit and lemon balm to end.
Nectar finish and tingly linger. Soft, slight cling, light.
Great looker, but pretty basic in the glass. Saved by the creamy body, even if it's a bit thin. Doesn't aspire to be anything more than a good summer drinker, and hits that mark dead on.

A: Not much for a head, translucent slightly dark yellow. can't see any rising carbonation.
S: Traditional witbier smell, but perhaps on the strong side, richer and going deeper. Quite floral, like a magnolia. A very true floral smell, unlike any other beer I've had. Certainly a floral yeast.
T: Promising smell but the flavor doesn't deliver. Hollow like many witbiers. Quite lemony, but nearly zero sweetness, kinda like a failed lemonade. Tart, sour and a bit bitter. But almost not bad. Still drinkable. Wheaty.
M: Sourness, hair astringent. Dry. Light to medium body.
O: I hate to say this, but it would probably be better if sugar was added. Mediocre

A foggy yellow beverage, a white thick head, no lacing.
The smell is fruity, lemon, orange and banana, spicy and a bit more "vigorous" than the on-tap version.
The taste is citric, lemon, rhubarb and elderberries, spicy, clove and cardamom.
High carbonation, refreshing and spritzy, soothing but dry.
This bottle was tested and compared with an on-tap version, I found the extra carbonation from the bottle actually invigorating and enhancing this beer.

Bottle into a half-pint non-tapered pint glass in the Oslo pub, in Salthill, Galway, Ireland (low altitude). Reviewed from notes.
A: Cloudy white lemon-yellow colour. Three finger head of fair thickness but no cream.
Sm: Citrus: lemon and grapefruit mainly. Wheat.
T: Cream open to lemon estery hop body with a lovely lemon finish. The wheat is present but scaled back to highlight the esters. Well built and balanced. Quite refreshing.
Mf: Delicately light on the palate. Delightfully coarse to the point of being tingly, but a bit too wet. The yeast chunks are a necessary evil - easy on the pour, lads.
Dr: It's a good beer at a high price, particularly here in Ireland. I assume it's very affordable in Belgium, so all of ye beer advocates would do well to give it a go.

A- had this on tap at popeye's in Tokyo. A very pretty golden blond. A bit cloudy. Nice pour.
S- very light smell. A little spice. Not much else other than clean.
T - more spice than the nose. Some bitter citrus notes.
M - flavorful without being too overwhelming. Par for the style.
O- would definately drink again in Tokyo since it's a bit more drinkable than hitachino white. will come back for one in the summer.
