2012 vintage. 650ml bottle poured into an oversized stemmed tulip.

A: Huge white pillowy head even with a very slow pour. One of the haziest beers I’ve seen in awhile...would give a hefeweizen a run for its money. Pale yellow body.

S: Dominant funky barnyard Belgian yeast. Some bandaid. Hay, grain, zesty lemon, white pepper. Slight cheesiness. Herbal hop notes. A touch of pine.

T: The flavor is way dialed down compared to the aroma. Light acidity turns into some salty bitterness with a constant theme of barnyard funkiness running throughout. Lemon, perfume, some grain. Very clean.

M: Very drinkable as it should be. High carbonation that scrubs your tongue clean. Body is light and texture goes from watery to a nice dry finish.

O: I really should have paired this up with some food. It seems like a great palate cleanser and perfect backdrop for savory dishes.

Ok I'll start this off by saying this is my fourth purchase of this brew I am abit of a fan and it pours a golden blonde hue with a fluffy three finger head and clingy lacing everywhere,the smell is funky Brett,lemon sherbet,lavender and bubblegum I love this smell very enticing,the mouthfeel is light bodied and fluffy with nice moderate carbonation and had tastes of lemon sherbet,funky Brett,a touch of lavender and finished with a bubblegum dryness and overall I'm sold I love this brew its perfect for the person just being introduced to Brett but also great for the bloke like me who's second name is Brett,perfectly balanced in my eyes and yes I'll be making a fifth purchase cheers.

The beer pours an oranging-yellow with straw notes, with a big sloppy, soap bubble head on top that sticks at about a finger-and-a-half’s width. The head leaves a lacing of sloppy drooping soap bubbles on the side of the glass. In body, the beer appears clear except for a slight haze and a nice torrent of tiny carbonation bubbles. On the nose, the beer smells of funky yeast with touches of herbal mint, citrus, slight brett funk, and even some slight paint thinner smell. In the citrus smell it moves from lemon to slight pineapple and then back to the lemon. On the tongue, the beer tastes citric sweet, then bread sweet, and then mellows with a nice herbal bitter and a touch of salt and acid. In flavors, the beer begins as sweet lemon grass that moves into slight grapefruit, pine, slight pineapple, and citrus caramel bread malt flavors, which mold out over the tongue and introduce a minty herbal spice with breadier side notes. There are even some slight saline flavors in the beer. The finish mellows the citrus lemon, slight funk, and herbal spice notes into a beautiful final crescendo that has a little lasting power. The aftertaste is light clean and slightly salty. In the mouth, the beer does feel extremely quaffable. It sits on the tongue on the light side of medium and features a supremely mellow and fluffy carbonation the caresses the tongue. The aftertaste is ripe with sweet spittle running over the tongue and requiring more of the beer to wash away the spittle. Overall, this is a tremendous session beer with some phenomenal Belgian flavors and some nice subtle yeast funk. It’s very nicely balanced, with perhaps only a touch too much sweetness coming through at the start of the beer. This beer is an awesome beer. My one complaint is that as you stick your nose in this beer, the smell gets a little strange, and a tad gross. Other than that this beer is delicious and sessionable. Try it.

650ml bottle. Weird font usage on the supposedly French/English (but in the end just plain awkward) rendition of the name on the label.

This beer pours a hazy, very pale yellow straw colour, with three fingers of puffy, glistening, thinly foamy white head, which leaves broad swaths of chunky, splotchy lace around the glass as it lazily sinks away.

It smells of sharp, almost medicinal funk, fresh hay-like grainy malt, acidic lemon, a sweeter, fleshier tropical fruitiness, simmering dry yeastiness, and middling vegetal pine notes. The taste is grainy, straw-like pilsener malt, musty, dank barnyard esters, mild lemon-lime citrus pith, a hard to shake indeterminate essence of unripe pineapple and pear, and floral, piney hops.

The carbonation is rather peppy throughout this whole affair, but hardly unbearably so, the body medium-light in weight, and somewhat tepid in its smoothness, the yeast and funk notes having that effect. It finishes quite dry, the pale malt kind of squeezed out by those same fruity, yeasty, and thankfully restrained funky essences.

Most BPAs are only remarkable for their penchant of yeast over hop, from my North American vantage point, so this particular onslaught of Lambic funk and Yankee hops does a good job of splintering preconceptions. After more than an average palate adjustment, the appeal of this so-called 'table beer' comes to light, proving that flavour in a Belgian-style ale can exist in the absence of elevated alcohol levels.

Bottle: Poured a deep bright golden color ale with a huge pure white foamy head with excellent retention and great lacing. Aroma of dry Brett notes with light funky notes is very enjoyable and refreshing. Taste is also dominated by some notes of dry flora notes with light Brett and funky ester with light rustic malt backbone. Light citric notes are also easily perceptible. Body is about average with great carbonation. Very enjoyable beer that is not overly dominated by Brett but still retain a great balance between drinkability and complexity.

650ml bottle - $9.49 at Mink's Package Store in Marietta, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a hazed, light straw-hued body with a lofty, foaming, white crown of suds. Meringue-like lacing.

Smell: A touch of hay-esque malts, a spritz of fresh lemon and lime, half of a pineapple ring, and some Brett notes. As some of the yeastier deposits from the bottle make their way into the glass from latter pours, it picks up a big, spicy, floral perfumy quality.

Taste: Light, mild-mannered pils malts, very low, sans-crust bready quality and just a hint of sweetness. Soft touch of lemon-lime citrus. A few drops of pineapple juice. Heck, maybe some green apple. Lightly bitter. Agreeable, leathery funk character. Coriander and fresh florals later on. A little bit of mineral and a rebound of oily, moist citrus on the staunchly dry finish.

Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Well carbonated for a nicely crisp mouthfeel.

Overall: It's a little hay-like malts, some funk, and a appreciated citrus, until you're brain is wrecked by the outstanding refreshment.

Poured from the bottle a cloudy straw-gold color with two fingers of sticky white head.

The aroma was yeasty with tart green apple, lemon and a light whiff of earthy funk.

The taste matched the aroma. Tart lemon and green apple, Belgian yeast, and an earthy bite. Finishes with lemon notes and a touch of clove.

Light-medium bodied and dry with a sharp carbonation.

A nice sessionable Belgian Pale from Stillwater. I'll definitely have this one again.

The beer poured like I expected. Semi hazy straw with a white fluffy head.

Aroma is of yeast phenol. Lemony with a slight herbal spice. No sweetness

Taste is overwhelmingly plastic. More plastic band aid than anything else. It is hard to get past the plastic. Lemon is all I can get

Mouthfeel is where it should be. Nice carbonation. Nice and dry. I would say very drinkable if I enjoyed the flavor

Overall, I'm disappointed with this beer. The flavor total kills this beer. Once I realized it tasted like band aids I couldn't get past that.

A: The beer is clear straw yellow in color and has a moderate to high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a two finger high bright white head that took a long time to die down, eventually leaving a short head covering the surface and thick lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: There are light to moderate aromas of Belgian yeast in the nose along with notes of lemon citrus and floral hops plus some slight hints of sourness from the Brettanomyces.
T: The taste is similar to the smell but is much more complex, having a little more sourness, some hints of peppery spices and a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light-bodied and a little dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a really easy to drink Belgian Pale Ale that offers a bit of sourness to make the taste interesting. The only drawback is that it seemed a little too carbonated when pouring and you patiently had to wait for the head to die down.

Appearance
Cloudy straw/yellow with 4 fingers of light, fluffy head. Excellent retention with very lively carbonation.

Nose
Raw grains, hay, dried grass, wheat, lemon and potpourri.

Taste
Raw grains and spelt. Dried hay and grass. Light touches of lemon juice, apricot and sourdough. Finishes with horse blanket, potpourri and pink peppercorn.

Mouthfeel
Medium bodied, crisp, clean and refreshing.

Overall
Rustic and refreshing. Incredibly easy drinking with a subtle tartness. Although this was placed in the Belgian Pale Ale category, we all know it's a Table Saison...and a great one at that!

Very hazy light golden color with a half inch white head.

Estery aroma, with banana and champagne notes accompanying barnyard funk.

Flavor revealed sharp citrus and fairly lactic tones, with horse blanket mid-palate, finishing extremely plasticy and pretty bitter.

Body was moderate to light, with fairly high carbonation.

The phenols were a bit overwhelming. Good citrus and funk,, and the dry finish was nice, but the plastic overwhelmed.
