Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at Peg's. Served in a Peg's snifter glass.

A: Dark brown to black, nearly opaque, with a small tan head. Low visible carbonation.

S: Coffee, sweet malt, but a bit metallic underneath.

T: Coffee, cream, then more coffee. It's not that it's bad, it's that that's about all there is here. I don't get the metal on the palate that I did on the nose.

M: Good creamy mouthfeel, substantial body. Moderate alcohol presence and relatively low carbonation sensation.

O: Decent beer, but didn't do anything to excite me. I didn't have the opportunity to try either of the BA varietals...I have a feeling the treatments may have improved this significantly.
