Real nice place, highly BA worthy. Not much of a looker from the outside, with the typical Coors light silver banners,,,,yeech,,,,anyway the guy behind the register, Dave, greated my daughter and me and offered us any help as well as a quick tour, great guy, lots of info and insight/beer thoughts, and the tour was quite helpful for a first time visitor. Anyway the stock plenty of the good stuff you are used to seeing in the better NY/LI places. Dont expect a Shoreline type selection of Belgians. A nice added bonus is the 6 tap growler filling station. Also Dave was quite excited that they had a full line of Avery brew which I was not aware was scarce on LI. Good place, good staff, worthy stop if in the area.

This place is tucked away in the village of Oyster Bay. It used to be the old Oyster Bay Beverage Barn but now is a SUperstar store. The building was completely remodeled and is dedicated to craft and specailty brews. When you walk in the first thing you see is the six line growler fill station and racks upon racks of beer. I really like the way Superstar lays out its stores. All the beer is separated by size and region of origin. The staff was very helpful. I spoke to Matt, the manager who is very eager to please. The store is quite busy, there was about 5 or 6 other customers shopping on a thursday afternoon. I got a bottle of McNeills Imperial IPA 22oz for $4.99! Matt informed me that McNeills is a new brand that is exclusive to SUperstar and it was a bargan at that. Overall this place is well worth the drive, there is plenty of parking and the selection is top notch. I guess because the place is so new it doesnt have that same warehouse beer store feeling but more of a clean well lit shop. A great beer shop!
