finally stopped in to check the place out. the bar was spot clean, dressed up well with hanging glasses, lots of wood work, bottles across the wall, and a vintage ladder along the bar for grabbing bottles. the place was spotless and I was helped above and beyond (granted, I was the only one in there). the bartenders knew their beer. The Bridge has 55 taps, 200+ bottles, and growlers to go (growlers are pricey). i have yet to try the food however the menu looks solid. I plan on returning and look forward to it.

Visited this place while on business. Swanky look on a not so swanky street. No dedicated parking lot so I spent $5 at a lot around the corner.
Fantastic long wooden bar so I sat myself right in front of their 40 something taps. Being from ny there were a lot of offerings that I cannot get - new Belgium, Deschutes, and lots of st louis locals. So selection is amazing. They also offer small 4oz glasses for high abv brews or ones you dont want to commit a full pour to.
Small but well thought food menu. I had a flatbread and it was tasty.
Service was really great atmosphere was also great. Well worth a visit. In fact id say its a must.

Frequented with some guys for a bachelor party this past weekend. Unbelievable selection of draft and bottles; probably 3 pages of drafts and 7-8 pages of bottles. It was still a welcoming place to the guys that weren't beer geeks like me. Great, friendly wait-staff that answered any questions and gave solid recommendations based on your tastes. It was within walking distance to the downtown Hilton/Busch Stadium. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting St. Louis and will definitely visit again if I have the chance.

Paid a visit here on 6/20/12 on a Wednesday night. Nice after work crowd. They have seating at the bar and an upstairs as well as outside picnic table seating. Very nice tap selection, including Founders, Bell's, Ommegang, Odell, and several local STL craft beers. Huge bottle list. Food was good and had many choices including cheese and meat plates, sandwiches, small plates, and entrees. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Large wine selection for those who might not want beer (gasp!). Will def go back on any vist to STL.

Visited on a saturday night and it was fairly busy. We still got three seats at the bar and marveled at the nice collection of beers. Founder's porter on tap was my favorite that I had. Also had a Bailey's chocolate, which was really interesting too.
The food looked good but we had just eaten so we didn't try it. Next time I will try it.
Service was good. We had a lot of fun bantering with the bartenders on our end of the bar. They made me want to return again.
Beer selection was great. Lots of local breweries on tap, plus some interesting stuff from all over the place. Focus seemed to be on craft beer, not BMC.
The four ounce pours were great because I got to try a founder's, avery, bailey's chocolate, new belgium, and great divide selection while I was there.
I'd say this is definitely worth stopping by when you're in St Louis.

My girlfriend took me here when I came to visit. Being that I currently live in Chicago I did not have the highest expecations for The Bridge and assumed it would ammount to a normal bar/restaurnt in my area. I was absolutely blown away by their tap list and bottle selection. They had a well balanced variety of styles and you can order all beer on tap in either a 4, 12, 20 or 64 oz size which makes for a great way to sample a variety of beers. The food was amazing as well (we had a variety of cheeses and cured meats). The prices were very reasonable with most 4oz pours being between $1 and $3. I have not stopped raving about this since I went. Next time I visit STL I will be sure to stop by again.

While bringing in friends to this place weekly, there's a reason behind the fact that I'm a huge fan of this place. From the great staff to urban design of the inside of the bar, nothing can beat it. Also, while this place doesn't advertise, its impressive how much business they bring in! There is also limited signage on the outside of the place so look for the bookstore at the corner of Locust and 10 St.
The atmosphere is awesome, but late nights here with a bro might seem awkward/gay. They turn the lights way down and play easy-listening music. Otherwise, its very "organic" in decoration with its BREWMASTER- fanimation fans, tree like chandeliers, and a library ladder to reach for the beer/wine selection.
From the perfect serving of glassware paired with each beer to a clean and well lit (according to the time of day), everything is perfect here!
I do have to say, if you are the only person in here or there are only a few people, the bartenders/managers (John and Shawn) are awesome and can help you out with ANY questions you have about their beer, wine, or tequila. On the flip side, on a busy night here, its tough to get a drink and you can wait for quite a while. Doesn't hurt my opinion of the place though.
Selection is unreal! You can even go to their website and pull up a Full Tap List (and they keep it updated by the week). While their 40+ taps rotate frequently with limited brews (just had Blushing Monk, Parabola, and Green Flash), they also have over 150 bottles. Can't go wrong with anything here!
The food is very good! I have had many varieties of their popcorn, bavarian pretzels, flatbread and hummus, and a plank with sausage and cheeses. Will be trying everything on this menu and trying something new each time I come back!
Perfect place to go to with a group of friends or also a date! Could definitely get someone into craft beer by bringing them here.

Bridge Tap House was our last stop in our tour of St. Louis. What a cool town! Art, beer, food, Indian mounds and ghetto ruins. Can't ask for anything else...
Located in Downtown STL, the Bridge was pretty empty when we visited on a Sunday at lunch time. Only about five people in plus the wife and myself, but I hear it gets busy during prime times!
We loved the atmosphere and decor- cool place with a modern-urban feel, more NYC or PHL than STL. Great music (including Phoenix!) and just a nice, relaxed vibe on a sleepy Sunday afternoon.
Service was great and knowledgeable, but then again, the place was pretty empty. Food is outrageous! Perfect to pair with beer, boards for sharing, meat-and-cheese plates, local ingredients... reminds me of The Farmers' Cabinet in Philadelphia. We had some delicious cheddar crisps, smoked duck breast "pintxos" and dessert.
Beer selection is pretty flawless. I particularly enjoyed the big local selection of Missouri beers: I had 2nd Shift Collaboration IPA, Charleville Explicit APA and Hoptimistic IPA, Urban Chestnut Calypso, Bailey's Chocolate Ale.
55 taps, no less, with lots of styles. Belgians, Great Divide, Founders, Southern Tier, Left Hand, Avery, Bear Republic, New Belgium, Nebraska, New Holland... beers big and small.
The bottle selection is very good but not as impressive, with no crazy surprises but great prices and no ridiculous markups.
I love the bar looks, with a huge wooden bookcase filled not with books but with beer bottles. The whole place is connected to the Left Hand bookstore.
We ended paying $60 plus tax for a bunch of food items, a 20-oz beers and several 4-oz tastes. Pricey for St Louis, sure, but would you not? This place is classy and awe-inspiring!

This place has a nice modern/minimalist but at the same time warm atmosphere. It is very clean and cool. There isn't much room on the first floor were a small bar is located at.
The beer selection is one of the best in the city. This and iTap probably have the best in terms of quality and numbers. Tons of out of state good staples and a bunch of local stuffs. Tried teh 2nd Shift Art of Neurosis IPA which was delicious.
Service was friendly and timely but a bit robotic.
Food was delicious. Had some bruscheta and the manchego cheese board. Very good. I will be excited to try the sandwiches next time.

Glad to have tried this place during my visit to St. Louis thanks to the BeerAdvocate recommendations! This neat brick walled and contemporary (interesting mix of character) beer/wine bar is situated right off Locust Street downtown. They have over 50 taps and they’re all local and regional crafts or quality belgians plus an extensive bottle selection. They have any of their drafts available in 4 oz. pours as well as 12 and 24 ounce pours plus the bartenders seemed to know and care a lot about beer. They also have over 200 different kinds of wine as well as a number of artisinal liquors. Bartender / wait staff were attractive, cool, attentive. Good stuff going on here.
