A- Black porter with red highlights when held to the light; deep straw head.

S- Malt with a touch of yeast in the nose; maybe a touch of roast

T- Roasted coffee, sweetness way in the back, a touch of bitterness; finish is a good balance of sweet and bitter

MF- Silky, with carbonation bite

D- Nice session porter

Poured jet black into a 34oz mug, with a relatively thick light tan head. Smells clean and metallic, with coffee and chocolate undertones. Tastes thick and sweet, almost like an oatmeal stout at first; then fades into subdued roasted malts and chocolate. A great, full-bodied porter.
