At a few weeks old, this has probably already dropped off a little, but what can you do. Better now than a week or two from now.

Poured into an imperial pint glass. The beer shows impressive clarity and is on the orange side of golden. Bubbles are very fine, and the foam has a creamy texture with very good retention.

Excellent hop aroma, though it seems more intense right off the pour than after it has been in the glass for a while. However, it does open up well with some further warming - I served this too cold. Some passionfruit, guava, overripe orange with hints of pine and cannabis.

The actual hop flavor seems more one-dimensional than the aroma. I'm getting more straight-up piney bitterness with a sweet-cakey malt finish that carries the beer down. Bitter but relatively short-lived aftertaste.

Mouthfeel is on the creamy side for the style, which I really like.

Overall, a clean, drinkable DIPA. For my own personal preference, I'd rather see this at 8% or so rather than 9.5%. Not that the alcohol is very noticeable, but I am feeling it rather quickly. Also, the residual sweetness, while not intense, is a little much for me to warrant a 4.5 or above. Still, a very solid beer.
