Got some Red Stripe today for our Super Bowl beer, just something that can go down easy and everyone could enjoy. Pours a pale yellow with a small white head, so that wasn't doing it any favors. Smell was pretty simple, kind of earthy and floral, but was weak. Taste wise, it isn't very complex, but compared to other adjuncts, it's quite good. It starts off sweet, then finishes slightly bitter. Aftertaste is kind of watery, though. Mouthfeel is bubbly and light. This beer is very refreshing and easy to drink, I could easily see a sixer going down quickly. All in all, it's a good beer for it's style, and would be a great summer beer. It is pricey, however, and that will likely keep me from buying more.
