Poured on tap into a half pint glass at Churchkey. Listed as a Munich Helles and described as Koutska 10°.

Unfiltered looking pale and somewhat murky brown body, with a thin white head but presented with a solid finger. Head is a creamy white and has lots of staying power and retention.

Nose is real distinct. A muted faint airy lemon and dry, hints of mild sticky bread yeast. Real clean with an interesting malt density. Real fascinating.

Palate is light crisp and full of solid flavor. Strange interesting hints of peanuts with crisp hop and tangyness. Finishes with still a dense malt. Palate is incredibly tight, with a light crisp body. It's a real mix of light refreshment and dense flavors unlike most pilsners I've had.

Overall though a real unique mix of flavors here, and the hops really linger. Great super session pilsner?

This light Czech lager is pretty much where it is at when it comes to the Czech pilsner style of beer.

Beautifully golden, topped with a fine rocky head that clings around until the beer is all gone.

The aroma is pure Saaz hops, grassy, lemony, peppery. The taste is slightly malty, crisp, dry and moreish beyond words.

This is simply the benchmark against which all pale lagers should be measured.
